My First Sasa Haul :D

Hey yall!

Sasa was having a BOGO with their Silk Whitia Masks, and of course the gorgeous Fuzkittie raves about them. She has amazing skin and knows what she's talking about, so I really wanted to try out these masks that she swears by.

Here's how long it took for them to give me my stuff so yall can gauge when yall would get yours. I live in TX and they ship from Hong Kong of course.

Order Date: August 27, 2010
Ship/Dispatch Date: August 30, 2010
Arrival Date: September 13, 2010

So this totals up to 16 days.

Products Ordered:

Silk Whitia Hanfang Anti-Oxidizing Mask
Silk Whitia Lavender Whitening Mask
Silk Whitia Quick Action Moisturizing Mask

and I have no idea how many mL of product are in each sheet mask. I looked on the packaging but I don't see it anywhere. But after using one sheet I can safely say it has around 25mL or so since I compared it to one of my My Beauty Diary masks that I bought (and will review later ^.^)

I wish I could have bought even more boxes of these silk whitia masks, but most were sold out :(

Oh well. Next time then :) I do want to get my hands on the My Beauty Diary masks since they sell them cheaper than elsewhere.

This post is just to show you what I got and what the packaging looks like so yall know what to expect. I've got my first review of Silk Whitia Hanfang Anti-Oxidizing Mask in progress :)

Each box contains 5 sheets, so I've got a total of 30 masks! :D Though a girl can never have too many sheet masks. They just give you that 30 min of relaxation time and when you wake up from your cat nap, your face looks awesome lol, which of course makes you feel even better xD hahaha.

So how are yall doing?

If yall use Silk Whitia masks, which ones specifically do you recommend? Let me know! :)

See yall later ^___^

Nails: ULTA Nail Lacquer in After Party

Hey yall :)

Just did my nails yesterday! I did a french tip with Ulta's super glittery nail polish in After Party.

I had to layer it to get the glitters to be more packed.

It's really simple and quicker to do than the regular white french tips because the edges of this doesn't need to be super exact. I free handed this.

ULTA in After Party
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

Ulta was having a sale on these polishes not too long ago for just $2 so I had to snag it. It's normally around...I think $6-8? something like that.

Hope yall are doing well :)

See yall later!

bliv by Cellnique:: Off With Those Heads & Quench Me Product Review

Hey yall :)

bliv by Cellnique
kindly sent me Off with Those Heads and Quench Me to test out and review.

And just to let everyone know, I am not paid to endorse this product nor do I represent their company. All my reviews are 100% real and all my own words, thoughts, and opinions.

Here is their website:

Off With Those Heads

*all information is taken from *

Off With Those Heads removes white & blackheads without violence or pain, and stops them from appearing ever again. The gel softens the clogging blocking your pores, allowing for effortless extraction and removal of all sores. Its essence ingredients keep oil secretions under control, and skin irritation will never again rule!

Use Off With Those Heads daily, on your cleansed, towel-dried face:

Pump 2-3 pea-sized drops of Off With Those Heads onto your palm.

Apply on T-zone areas, or areas with black and whiteheads

Product overview
Color: Slightly hazy
Scent: Peppermint
Texture: Gel type
Feeling: Cooling and refreshing

Cost: $63 USD
Size: 45ml

My Thoughts:

It came in a plastic "outer cover" box where you slide our the main box out from inside. Nice packaging. The bottle itself is about 4 inches tall or so and it is a pump bottle with a cap. The bottle itself is translucent, where you can still see the product inside, but you'd have to look a little more carefully. I like how "clean" the packaging looks.

Smells minty and fresh! I like it! It feels cooling to your skin too.

Did it Work?

It sort of did. I mean I did see a slight difference (ah so sorry I completely forgot to take pictures of the "after" portion of my nose for this), but nothing drastic enough to be wow'd about. To be honest, I wasn't sure how this product works. I didn't know whether you put it on and let it absorb so it can loosen up the blackheads and then you put on a pore strip or manually extract the blackheads, or if the product itself gets rid of the blackheads on its own. For me, I only put on this product once in the morning and once at night for 2 weeks and saw minor improvements. If you see their claim in saying that it will get rid of blackheads and make them never appear again, I can confidently say that's not true. It got rid of a minimal amount, and the blackheads came back unfortunately.

I will continue to use the rest of this product and if somehow later on I see this product working, I definitely will let yall know. For now, I still feel extremely self conscious of my nose because this product didn't get rid of the blackheads as it claimed. I was so hoping this product would work :(

-nice packaging
-easy to use
-blackheads reduced (but nothing drastic enough)

-too expensive at $63 USD
-did not get rid of the blackheads as much as it claimed
Would I purchase this again? No. (but i MIGHT change my mind after I use up the whole bottle, but for now it's a no)

Rating: 3/5

Product overview
Color: Blue
Scent: Characteristic
Texture: Creamy type
Feeling: Moisturizing and refreshing

Cost: $32USD
Size: 50mL

My Thoughts:

It's the same as the Off With Those Heads. White bottle that's slightly translucent with a cap and a pump. Very sanitary

It smells very fresh. Not sweet, not citrusy. Just fresh laundry, cleanliness.

Did It Work:

Not on me. I have combination-oily skin and on the label it said it's for dry skin. Though I personally believe it isn't for dry skin either because the formula is more gel-like than skin-thirst-quenching-creamy. I would say this is best suited for normal skin that just needs a bit of moisture. It never claimed to control oil, but I guess I'll mention it anyway that it for sure doesn't control the oilies. My face-oil-spill rises quite quickly with this product, unfortunately.

I do love how easily it spreads though and the smell. It smooths over your face so well. It does make my skin feel slightly tight, so it didn't feel as moisturizing as I thought.

This product did not make me break out, nor did it provide any noticeable benefits.

-smells great
-sanitary packaging
-spreads easily

-not easily available (order online)
-didn't improve my skin (nor did it hurt it)

Would I Repurchase? No

Rating: 2.5/5 (not a bad just didn't do much for me)

Other thoughts:

I've seen a lot of other bloggers post their reviews about these same products as well as other bliv products. They seem to get benefits from them. Maybe my skin is just picky? I don't know. From what I gathered, most people either had great benefits, or it was a product where it didn't benefit or harm them, just like for me.

I just can't shell out money for a product that doesn't give me visible results. If you have extra money to spare, you can maybe try out Off With Those Heads because it seems that other bloggers have had success with it.

First of all I want to let yall know, I was supposed to post this review LONG time ago back in May but I had lots of personal problems going on, so due to the delay, I'm not sure if bliv is still giving out samples to the first 50 readers, but it's still worth a shot to email them! :)

Email your full name and your mailing/shipping address to with the title :)

Thank yall for reading!

I'll have more reviews coming out.

See yall later :)
