Little Gray Dress (nope not black!)

I think every girl needs that one sexy dress they can depend on for a girl's night out or clubbing or something. In this case I went out with friends at Ra Sushi in City Centre in Houston, TX and my gal pal dressed up so she encouraged me to dress up too. This was a while back during winter break lol, but I'm finally getting around to posting it up xD

Some may see this dress as too tight and slutty. I don't really care, that's you're opinion. I however love that this makes me feel sexy. It isn't too short at all; it's just tight.

Hey yall

Cream and white

My Thoughts:

Just as a disclaimer, I have combination-oily super acne prone skin and have been on every medication out there, and this product may or may not work for you, so pleaseee don't be mad at me if it doesnt work xD and if yall are sensitive to Benzoil Peroxide, stay away from this because that is the key active ingredient.

Basically I've had quite a number of outbreaks lately and this has been the one product that has taken my zit covered face down to the regular acne scars that I'll take care of later. It pretty much cleared some zits within a few days, and the stubborn ones took a week. Then after 2 weeks, half of my face is clear and I've got a lot of scars left and a few zits on my face left; maybe about 3-4 zits. Originally I literally had about 15+ on my face. Small ones and big ones. It was bad so I wore makeup to cover it sometimes, but for the most part this product worked.

If you put too much on your face, it will 1. leave a white cast and 2. dry out your skin too much; so be careful. I usually cover my whole face rather than spot treat so the bacteria doesn't travel elsewhere on my face. That probably helped in prevention. The general rule is about a pea-size for the whole face, but do it to customize for you. Some days I use less than that, some days a smidgen more. I usually don't as much to the areas that are clear, but I still do, again, to do prevention, and then I'll apply the product more on the affected area or big pimples.

This is about $4-7 depending where you get it. I got mine at my HEB Grocery store, but I'd recommend going to Walgreens to test it out because their return policy is amazing. I have returned stuff there with open packaging and they didn't even question why I was returning them. They just took it back and gave me my money back.

Overall Rating:4.5/5
Product: 5/5
Packaging: 3/5 (hygienic, easy to use, but boring and simple looking)
Cost: 2/5 (so affordable!)
Repurchase? YES
Where to Buy: Walgreens, Target, your local grocery store, Walmart, CVS, drugstore.com, etc

Periwinkle Nail Polish

Hey yall

I painted my nails last week in this periwinkle color. It's from Forever21's Love & Beauty brand. I can't find the name of the color though on the bottle. This was gifted to me from my best friend as part of a Christmas gift so maybe the name was on the price & barcode label that she took off. I'm sorry that I don't have the name, but I'm sure once you see the bottle, you'll know it's this color

I used:
  • Nail Life Gripper base coat
  • Forever21 Love & Beauty nail polish (periwinkle color)
  • Seche Vite top coat

Review on the acne cream will be coming up! I just gotta take pictures and such. And btw, just as a reminder for this acne cream, please remember that my skin is different than yours. My skin reacted favorably towards this and it may not for you, so please don't get your hopes up too much xD I'm just sharing with you what works for me. Thank you!

Product Review: Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA Acne Clearing Gel

Hey yall!

Told ya I'd be back with a review soon =P

I originally heard of this product from RAEview on youtube and since it worked for her boyfriend, I wanted to give it a try.

Just as a reminder and reference, I have combination oily and HEAVILY acne-prone skin that's easily irritated so this product MAY work for you if your skin condition isn't as nuts as mine. *EDIT* and just as a reminder for new readers/viewers, I am heavily allergic to Sulfur, Sulfate, Sulfite, etc, so all products I review will be sulfur-free

Lets get to the review!

My Thoughts:

The packaging is simple and pretty effective in terms of traveling. It isn't big and it won't spill around when you have the cap on. However when you press down on the nozzle to dispense the product, it isn't a smooth pump. Sometimes too much comes out. Usually it gives one full pump when perhaps one day you just need half pump. That part bothers me. Also it's a glass bottle so it may break, but I have dropped it on the floor before and it didn't crack on me.

This product overall was moderately effective. Some days it worked, some days not. The area that it helped was around my chin and jawline, but for some reason it didn't do much for my face :( I know in my last post my skin looks clear but I have foundation on to cover the acne and acne scars. ( I DO however have a product that DOES work that I will review later that made me get rid of majority of my acne in just 2 weeks! Drugstore item too so affordable. Look out for that review! :D ) Anyway, Sephora has a good return policy. I used this for two full months and half the bottle was gone, and they took it back.

Would I recommend yall to try it? Yes give it a shot, if not you can always return it if you have a Sephora nearby/its convenient for you. I, however, will not be repurchasing this item. It's expensive at like...$30-something bucks--I forgot, but it certainly was above $20 and that's expensive.

Rating:
Overall: 2/5
Price: 5/5 (expensive!)
Packaging: 2/5 (good bottle, bad pump)
Repurchase? No
