Naruko Majoram and Lavendar Brightening Eye Cream Product Review

Hey yall :)

I'm back with a review!

Last year I ordered a wad of Naruko products since that was the *it* thing to try out. And I'm now just getting to reviewing them xD. I have already reviewed the Naruko Total Defense Make-Up Removing Mousse which you can click HERE to check it out and I reviewed Naruko Narcissus Total Defense AA Foaming Wash which you can click HERE to see it.

I've been on the search for good eye cream and so far I haven't found any perfect ones to brighten my dark circles. I don't have too much of a problem with dryness under my eyes but I still like to keep them moisturized to prevent wrinkles in the future. Sooo lets see if this product lived up to its "brightening eye cream" label.

I like the simple packaging. It's slim and lightweight so that you can slip this in any travel back for your skincare

Hygienic squeeze tip :) I never over-dispense the product since the tip gives good control

My thoughts:

I have not seen any brightening effects on my dark circles. I have seen reviews before how this has worked well, but maybe my dark circles are stubborn. However, it does provide just enough moisture for my eyes. It absorbs easily and quickly, and spreads easily as well. It isn't thick, but is still creamy. This is a good eye cream for everyday moisturizing under the eyes, but don't get your hopes up to get rid of your dark circles. Because this product is so hard to obtain (I have to get it online), I don't find this product worth repurchasing because I know there are other drugstore eye creams that can moisturize just the same as this. And btw, if you have really dry undereyes, this will definitely *not* moisturize enough for you. I have combination oily skin and this moisturizes just right for me.

I will use it up for now, as it is still a pretty good eye cream, but once I'm done with it, which I actually am quite near the end of the tube, I'll move on to test the Magnolia brightening and firming eye cream in the pot.

I know usually my reviews are more in depth than this but there really wasn't much else to say other than getting to the point that this doesn't live up to its name.

I really had hopes for this product :( and overall a lot of Naruko products haven't worked miracles on me like it has for most other people; so my overall thoughts are that if you have problematic skin like me, where you have tons of acne problems, stubborn scars and hyperpigmentation, then these products won't make a drastic change. I think this entire line will do well for those with more normal skin.

Hey yall!

Finally got all 33 pictures watermarked. There were 350+ photos in total that I had to sift through so it took a while.

All photo credits go to my guyfriend, whom I will not name for privacy reasons, and also I blocked out his face in the last photos for privacy as well. But to my friend, thank you for doing this favor of taking our pictures! :)

These are long overdue in post, as all my future posts will be xD I'm behind in posts since I pretty much did not blog anything Fall semester.

My friend is with me in these pictures. She's absolutely gorgeous. In the "first set" of pictures in the garden, I'm the one in the black, she is in the red. In the "second set" of pictures at the IBM/Williams Tower Waterwall, I'm in the white and she is in black.

Hallo and Dandruff Related Acne

Haven't done a post in forever. This semester was brutal for me in terms of school, life, personal problems, mentally, physically, everything.

I barely passed 2 out of the 3 accounting courses. I "failed" one of them. I got a C- in Frameworks Accounting, and you need a C to pass, and my teacher refused to give me 2 pts. So instead of being set back a year to redo accounting, I switched majors back to Marketing. Though to be honest, I have no clue what I want to do with Marketing. All I know is that it will let me graduate this spring and it won't be so hard to get A's and B's.

One major thing I dislike about marketing is that the whole idea behind it is to deceive the public into buying the product or service. And majority of the time, there are more products I DON'T believe in versus the ones that I do believe in. So I don't want to just settle for some company and represent something I'm not comfortable with or haven't used myself to vouch for it.

I want to do something a little different, but I don't know what. I've been searching for job positions out there to see if anything suits my personality, but so far I haven't found any :( At first I switched to accounting because I remotely liked it enough, but mostly, it was because I knew I could find a job out there no problem. Even if I start at a clerk position, I knew I could still get it and work my way up. But I think accounting is far too dry for me =/ I'm creative and a talker so Marketing suits me more, but still =/ can't find something I like.

Anyway, this break for me has been really nice. All my friends came back from their out of state universities. Usually I'm pretty lonely since I don't have many friends at school, and the ones I made at school, well, they've changed :( I kno, people change. It's a shame. When I met them, they were really cool, but now they're immature and rude. Don't get me wrong, they're still nice people; everyone has good points about them, but overall, I don't enjoy being around them, so now I essentially have no friends left. I suppose I'll try to branch out this semester and find new ones, though that's hard. I have a hard time trusting people because I've been hurt so many times.

On beauty related stuff, I wanted to talk about dandruff and acne.

I've been having dandruff problems for quite some time now. Moreso than the regular flake here and there, which is already embarrassing by itself. But I went to my aunt's house this week to help out my cousin with his art project, and she saw that I've been having more acne and I said yes I've been getting more this semester and that I think it's stress. That's when she brought up what my cousin and other cousin have. I forgot the technical term for it, but symptoms include itchy scalp, red patches, typically along the hairline, hair loss, clumps of dandruff in a spot, etc.

And this semester my hair was falling out like CRAZY. I seriously thought it was stress. All the acne, I thought it was stress. But my aunt insists that it's actually my scalp problem that's causing my acne. I don't know 100% but that's interesting to think about. Most of us think that we get acne from not washing off our makeup each day, or perhaps the pollution in our city, junk food we eat, etc. The last thing I'd think about is dandruff. So I got my prescription hair shampoo that I'm supposed to use a few times a week. I'll see if my acne reduces if my dandruff problems are solved by this scalp problem.

I just mention this for yall to consider this as maybe one of the reasons, or perhaps THE reason why you're getting acne if you are confused as to why you have acne yet you eat healthy and take care of your hygiene properly. I freaking hope this solves my acne problems because I've been pretty miserable with all these new zits popping up EACH week and then millions of scars forming. It makes me sad.

So yea, my cousin said after using the prescription shampoo Ketoconazole 2% shampoo about 3x a week, his hair stopped falling out as much, less dandruff, significantly less itchiness, and less acne. But because this dandruff/scalp problem got so far, he's on antibiotics to tame the acne.

EDIT:

wow totally forgot to actually explain how this causes the acne lol xD basically all that bacteria and oil on your head transfers down to your face and voila, mixes in with your pores and other bacteria and zits form. Also when you scratch your head and the bacteria from the scalp gets onto your hands, you probably mindlessly scratch your face sometime after, transferring even more bacteria and oil xD

Yup.

Onto other random stuff, I haven't been wearing makeup as much due to my acne and I'm embarrassed to have pictures up. Yes I can cover them with makeup but it'll make it worse. My facebook pictures make it look like I don't have acne but I guess that's the lighting and also makeup. Also I'm STILL stuck in the mindset of being SCARED of posting pictures of myself on my blog. I just feel conceited if I do it =/ but I know people out there want to know who the blogger is and want to see the face xD so I should post pictures of myself up, but, I'm shy about it... xD What do yall think? Do yall want to see more pictures of me? xDDDD WOW that made me feel SO awkward asking that x.x....I don't think I made it sound right at all but I'm sure yall get the gist lol

I have pictures from this summer that I took with my friend, and I'm thinking of posting that up for starters to get myself used to posting pictures of myself >.<

I'm Alive and College Life Question

Again, lost all motivation to blog =/

This semester:

Frameworks Accounting (introduction to intermediate)
Individual Taxation Accounting
Cost Accounting
Business Law & Ethics

Needless to say those have been giving me a headache :( not to mention I did quite poorly on my first Frameworks exam :(

I've been sick during this entire midterms week which is just so unfair >=( I lost so many days of study time bc I was in bed sleeping or having a headache. I'm better now but still have too much flem in my throat :(

I'd like to talk and ask yall bout something.

How often do yall go out each weekend? As a college student, I feel like I've been "missing out" on college life.

You know what I do? I sit at home all day and I MAYBE go out ONCE a month (sometimes more if my HW/study load is lighter), but really so far into every semester, I go out once a month(at most) and that's usually hanging out at my friend's house for a few hrs to talk or maybe a bit of shopping.

Seems like everyone usually goes out for a round of drinks or clubbing after midterms? Or rather, I see pictures up on facebook almost EACH week of new going-out pics. Am I just a hermit crab?!? I'm not a clubbing person. I've been to clubs before and it's not my thing. I'd rather go to a bar, CHILL, sit there and talk and giggle and have a good time. Sure I like dancing, but I don't like the idea of those nasty guys creepin up behind you and it's too party scene for me. I rarely drink at all if any anyway but I think it'd be nice to after midterms or something?

And really, the hanging out doesn't need to be that. I feel like I don't go out enough. To be fair, I am quite shy and I'm pretty scared of meeting a lot of people because I'm scared they'll invite me to a million other things and I'd get overwhelmed. I'm also scared they'll be irresponsible people. And the last thing I want is drama so I'm scared of meeting new people because I don't know if the girls will get catty or some person wants to ask me for all my notes in class while they didn't attend class etc. I know I'm being paranoid but that has happened to me a lot and I want to avoid it :( I've just had bad experiences with meeting people I guess. I have been fortunate this semester to meet a few other good ones though.

I'm also quite socially awkward around people. I've tried hanging out with people before and I don't kno what it is about me, but I'm just WEIRD!?!?? Like, no words come out of my mouth right. My jokes are LAME as can be and I just don't keep up with reality TV shows to talk about them nor do I read that much and no one really wants to talk bout books anyway I think :( . Everyone always wants to talk about "fun" things such as "gossip" and hilarious jokes and funny stuff they see online.

I'm sorry but I honestly get pretty bored with that kind of conversation. It gets dry fast. And if anyone has ever hung out with me, they'll notice I'm quiet and don't start up the conversation much. Why? Because the conversation is boring and I don't feel like responding. Those types of conversations are just smile-and-nod kinds; nothing engaging like an intellectual conversation where you question how things are or why things work, new discoveries, history, science etc.

Everytime I try to bring up engaging topics like that, people complain and are like "ah man stop talking bout SCHOOL stuff, I've had enough of that. I went out tonight to have some FUN" Um I'm sorry but my definition of fun isn't gossiping 24/7 or complaining bout that girl who took your man. I want a discussion and I want to see people's points of views and learn something. I still love my shopping and "omg that dress is so cute!" and talking bout some "gossip" per se of all the happenings going on, but overall, you really can only say so much of that before you run out of "news" to deliver, if you get what I mean.

Also, those kinds of conversations turn into rants or anything negative, you know what I mean? I know a lot of guys look at girls and think we complain too much, and I'd have to agree. I often hear girl groups go like "omg so like this weekend, that guy was just SO ughhh I couldnt stand it. And you KNOW he blah blah and I thought it was just HILARIOUS". Why not bring something interesting up?

I think maybe that's why I cant hang out? I don't know??? Because whenever I do, I just feel so uncomfortable. Everyone talks bout the other night that they drank and had a good time, or talks bout that awesome birthday party, or going to another city for the weekend to meet up with some friends. And...I don't do that???

I game sure, but the last thing I want to do is bring that up to a guy, who is probably the gamer, not the girls there. And gamer girls get a lot of attention and I don't want that. I don't want guys creeping up on me and just befriending me just because I game here and there (and not to mention I'm a pretty sucky player!)

I just feel like I've done just about NOTHING with my college life. Barely any girls night out either? (maybe because I don't have that many friends in the first place lol). This is supposed to be the time of my life. And I know this is partially because I don't dorm. I can't. I live in a commuter school where you go to school and come home, so it isnt nearly as easy to socialize and you have to travel across town to hang out with anyone.

Gah, shopping is quite addicting!

You KNOW that the item is a permanent item so it won't be discontinued or whatever, but you just HAVE to HAVE IT xD lol.

I have spent way more this year than I would have liked. I am starting to get back to saving though after a "few" purchases this summer. So far I see things that I want, but I'm holding myself off til much later, maybe christmas, because I know it won't be gone.

My goal? save at least $1000 by the end of this year, preferably $2000. My spending needs to go on a diet.

--I specifically want Bootcut because although skinny jeans are flattering, I have too many of them and am getting tired of it xD Bootcut jeans are timeless, totally classic, and I feel it's a good investment to have and always flattering to any body shape. Too bad these are like $150-200+ a pop, which is why I will wait a while to get one and hopefully there would be sales in store, or places like Nordstrom Rack.

--Asian makeup is such good quality. And of course I like that it's catered towards my skintone. I've become obsessed with milk-tea/beige colored lipsticks lately. I want a simple color that will complete the look but doesn't look boring, but is sophisticated and professional at the same time. I also like that it looks classic. Can't go wrong with that color. I also want other lipcolors too T.T but alas, these asian lipcolors cost like $15-25, definitely a bite out of your pocket. I also RARELY wear lipcolors, but I'm hoping with these non-sticky lipsticks and wearable colors, that I'd pick up on wearing them more often. I'm also wanting eyeshadow palettes. Packaging is amazing!

Infinite supply of cute and sexy bras and panties
-- I don't think a girl can have too many bras... lol. I'm a HUGE fan of Gilly Hicks bras. Great quality and all their bras are always 2 for $40. Can't beat that! Their quality is better than Victoria's Secret in my opinion. VS does have a wider selection of prints for their bras whereas Gilly Hicks has more basic stuff, though they still have a nice selection of floral prints and stripes and fun colors. I love Gilly Hick's undies too, the silky ones. So comfy and 5 for $25 is the same as VS but GH's cotton undies are better quality and softer, and better built for your body curves. I want so many different kinds xD

--Fuzkittie loves this and I want to try it out. I've been using my UDPP for a while now and although it's pretty good, it doesn't hold up my eyeshadows 100%. I'm just waiting til I finish my UDPP giant tube, which will take a long time :(

Benefit Bronzer in Hoola (or NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer)
--I want to contour my face, or at least the sides so my face looks a bit slimmer lol. I have heard that NYC bronzer is like $2-3 and works quite well. It's matte and what not, but I haven't tried it myself. I might get that inside of this Hoola one despite that people are raving bout this

Product Review: Naruko Total Defense Make-Up Removing Mousse

Back with another review :)

Description: Narcissus Total Defense Make-up Removing Mousse. This oil-based make-up remover transforms into foaming mousse instantly upon one pump. The rich foam rapidly dissolves dirt and make-up and deep cleans the pores. It contains narcissus bulb extract and the patented Phytoferulin complex that revitalizes the skin. The residue-free formula leaves the skin soft, smooth, and clarified.

Alright let me go through that description and review each of what it claims:

Foams upon one pump: Yes.
Dissolves dirt and makeup: Yes. I use this only for my face when I use foundation. I did not test this on eye makeup because I use a separate makeup remover for that. I have not tested it on liquid foundation or BB cream. I've only used it on powder foundation, but I will update this once I test it out on the other liquid foundation/BB cream
Deep Cleans Pores: No. My pores don't look worse nor better. It does not have an effect, but I think it just maintains my current pores and cleans off the makeup
Revitalizes Skin: My skin does feel refreshed after mainly because the makeup is off, not necessarily because the Narcissus extract did anything, although it DOES smell VERY good, so the smell can sort of "revitalize" you so to speak.
Residue free: Yes.
Leaves skin soft, smooth, and clarified: Sort of. I just feel "normal". My skin isn't that much softer or smoother. Just clean since it took off my makeup. If you wash your face and don't put on any moisturizer after, your skin WILL feel sort of tight, but nowhere near as tight-feeling as your skin would feel if you cleansed it with DHC Oil Cleanser.

I love the pump :)

Insta-Foam!

I use 2 pumps to clean my face. I massage it all around and then rinse. I DO, however, use a separate cleanser AFTER using this one to make sure everything is clean.

I'll be creating an Ingredients List tab up at the top soon so they're easier to check when you want to purchase

My thoughts:

This is a great alternative for those who do not want to use a FULL oil-cleanser like the DHC Oil Cleanser. This does the job so far, and again like I said earlier, I do not know how well it takes off liquid/BB Cream foundation, but will update once I test that out. My DHC definitely takes off ANYTHING but is pricey and may be too oily for some (I like it though). I like how this foams up like a regular cleanser so it's not as messy as an oil cleanser and it smells GREAT. This is difficult to get a hold of since you have to buy it online if you do not have a retailer that sells this nearby. You get 150ml of product (5 fl.oz.). If you already have a good cheap makeup removing cleanser then you can skip out on this one. But for me, I will continue to purchase this once I run out. It doesn't have sulfur, which is important to me because I'm allergic to that, and a lot of Naruko products in general don't have sulfur, although some do.

This product won't take off my BB cream and foundation completely. I'll have to use my DHC oil cleanser to remove the rest. Bummer. Only buy this product if you use powder foundation lightly. If you pack on lots of powder, I'm not even sure if this will take it off. Since this is a cleanser geared towards removing makeup, I have to say it doesn't do its job well enough :( But if you arent wearing any makeup and want to use this as a regular cleanser, it is indeed gentle and will clean your skin just fine. Just don't expect any "squeeky clean" feeling.

Updated Ratings:

Marshall, Walmart, Sephora, Ross, and Dollar Tree Purchases

Hey yall

I did this purchase about a month ago but am now finally getting to post it!

Splurged: MUFE Primer (Green). I think it was $30? $32? And the sample Benefit pack of their High Beam, Posie Tint, and Benetint was only $15--what a steal! But they're REALLY TINY, but it's a great way to try out each of them. I like all of them lol. Once I use them up I'll definite purchase the full size bottles. The posie tint stayed on my lips foreverrr. Just make sure your lips aren't chapped when you apply or else it'll sink into the cracks and accentuate them. Then since I'm currently using powder foundation for the hot summer, I want a finishing spray so I chose the highly rated MUFE Mist & Fix. This is just the small sample size, though I like this because it's travel friendly and you really don't need to spray much so that little bottle will last quite a while. I do intend to buy the full sized one later since per fl.oz it would be cheaper than buying each of these little one separately and then I'll just refill these little bottles when I need to travel. I'll be doing reviews on them too after I get my Naruko reviews out of the way. So much to review!!!

My body is strange. Some days it doesn't sweat at all, and some days I sweat like a pig, so I went ahead and picked up the clinical strength to make sure I don't soak up my poor shirts at the arm pitties area xD This scent smells SO GOOD O.O not to mention the extra clinical strength part totally works :) but it is more expensive than the regular deodorants. It costs $6 for half the amount you usually get for the other sticks at $3. The Bed Head Ego Boost is to help maintain my hair and help prevent split ends. So far so good actually. This got pretty good ratings but it's pricey at $15 =/ When I go into my next hair cut appointment at the end of the month, I'll see if my haircutter notices less split ends or not.

I heard from a youtuber that microfiber totally soaks up water more than a regular towel. Actually I first heard that for car washing lol, but I never thought to use it for my hair xD so I found this on sale at Ross and snatched it and it's so true. My long hair dried literally 2-3x faster. Sweet. lol. I also found no-name brand ones at the Dollar Tree if any of yall want to buy $1 microfiber hair wraps. I personally don't know if they work as good as this one or better or worse, but hey at $1, it's worth a shot right?

Dollar Tree loot. I was SO pleasantly surprised to find the Art Deco nail polishes there for just $1!! Usually these thin art nail polish liners cost $3-4. SUCH a steal. The CoverGirl eyeshadows were good too--had to pick them up. The color selection sucked but I got the last colors of the ones I have in the picture. My other nail buffer kind of wore out so I needed to get a new one. Didn't feel like paying $3 or so at CVS. $1 just sounds so great and is awesome lol. Yea I'm that cheap. Most people are like meh $3, but if I can save more money (but not too far out of my convenience to get), then I'll take it. That nailclipper isn't the greatest lol. Cuts just fine but so does not have that "catcher" thing to catch the nails you clip off. I wanted it to so I don't have to constantly hover over my trash can. O well, just a buck.

Hooray for nail polish! This duo was like $7 at Marshalls and usually these nail polishes run for $7-8 a pop. 2 for 1 price tag! They had other colors too but these blues intrigued me the most.

Okee dokee I shall be going to dinner now with parents and furniture shop.

Product Review: Naruko Narcissus Total Defense AA Foaming Wash

Back with a product review as promised :)

Super busy--just got back from work, but I got another shift coming up soon so I'm working on this inbetween.

I first heard about Naruko products from Fuzkittie and since the price was reasonable for the product, I thought to give it a try. I bought a LOT from them to try out so you'll definitely be seeing many more reviews on each product. Also if anyone is wondering why I'm reviewing these products individually rather than as a bundle in one post, it's because when people google up things, they put that specific product name they need and to have this individual post would help them find this review. I often research on products I want and have trouble finding the exact product I need because it's lost somewhere in a post--so I'm just writing this as how I'd like to find my product reviews. Hope yall don't mind! :)

The packaging is in a cardboard-ish box that you can re-make into something useful. They provide an instructions manual to reshape their boxes into things such as pencil holder, card holder, etc.

The squeeze tube itself is a pretty standard size. This is 120mL that you're getting, or in other words 4 fl oz. The tube is smooth but doesn't feel like that hard plastic that you get with lets say St.Ives tubes. I like the simplicity of it. It looks good but also not too girly so that males can use it too, for males that feel self-conscious about buying "female" products.

The plastic snap top is great, but I noticed that when you close it, it isn't as tight or secure as other snap-on tops, so I feel like this could be flipped open too easily. I don't mind it too much at all and I did travel with it and had no problem, but thought to mention that problem anyway

The product starts out fluffy and once you put water on it, I don't see it "thick" enough for my liking. When I wash my face, it was too thin. I like my cleansers to lather up enough. I mean, I have lathered it up more than what is seen in the pictures but it still isn't enough.

My thoughts:

This product isn't good but isn't bad. It didn't improve nor worsen my skin. At that price tag, I wouldn't repurchase, and even if it was just $5USD, I still wouldn't repurchase. I believe that's what Fuzkittie said too in her video. This product is rather ineffective. HOWEVER, for those of you with sensitive skin, perhaps this might actually clean your skin just fine. My skin is used to lots of prescription topicals and creams that are strong so this didn't do much for me. It does smell nice and the presentation and packaging is great, but I wouldn't recommend yall getting this unless yall are super curious.

Cost: 3/5 ($15USD is pricey to me)

Packaging: 3/5 (good and basic but nothing fancy)

Product itself: 2/5 (nothing good but nothing bad)

Overall rating: 2/5 (too inconvenient to get too! I don't see it in stores)

I'm Back and Summer To Do Goals

Hey yall :)

No excuses again--I've just been unmotivated and lazy, but blogging mood has kicked in again :D I'm on vacation right now so I don't have my regular PC to use photoshop to watermark my pictures, but I'll do reviews when I get home :) I'll be doing Naruko product reviews since that's what I've been using. I have good and bad thoughts on it so I mean it's not ALLLL good, but hey, at least they didn't make me break out.

Anyway, I plan on making some pages up at the top, inspired by Natikiru, such as a Bucket List, About Me, etc, and I'll put up a specific page for ingredients lists of products because I know people like me who have allergies need to see the list and some of the ingredients lists for Asian products are difficult to find.

Oh, and my birthday was on June 21 :D I am officially 21 whooooot!!! 21 on the 21st baby. Awesome ;) And no I didn't get wasted or anything =P xD lol. I'm not much of a crazy person haha so I played it safe while drinking.

While on vacation, I just went on a shopping spree the other day at H&M since I don't have it in Houston, TX T.T... I absolutely LOVE H&M...I wish I had one here D: I mean this shopping spree isn't much probably to yall but I usually don't buy much if any at all when I go shopping. I'll definitely show yall later what I got in pictures :) What I purchased was: pastel pink shirt with a bow that you tie around the neck area since it's more of a boat-neck style, then I bought a black trench coat, small black cross-body strapped purse, small metallic golden braided belt, pastel purple shirt with chiffon fluttery short sleeves, and lastly an olive green silky-feeling shirt with a tie/sash around the waist. I spent about $130 on myself xD

And then I got one of my best friends a gift from there too :) Something she's been dying to have. I know she'll be thrilled :D Her birthday is next month

Oh and while I'm on the topic of shopping, I did make a purchase on Zipia a few weeks ago and I need to show yall everything and review them too.

Last summer I made a to-do list and did not accomplish most of them so I really feel like I should kick myself and get these done this summer. I really don't have forever. I'm graduating next spring and I feel like once I get a job, I won't have the pleasure of a giant summer vacation to learn new things and enjoy many other things. So, without further adieu, this is what I'm planning on finishing this summer:

Finish reading Ender's Shadow (I'm SO late on reading this book -_-. I only went up to chapter 6 last summer and put down the book for who knows what reason. It certainly is a nice book)
Finish reading Foundation by Isaac Asimov and begin reading the rest of his Foundation series. I was recommended this and I have read Nightfall from Asimov in high school and loved it so I feel like I'd enjoy reading his other books as well.
Learn to use the sewing machine. I need to hem a dress and size down another dress and I SO need to make use of that sewing machine. I really think this could turn into a fun, but challenging, and also very healthy and useful hobby rather than stuff my face at the computer screen. I'm just an impatient person so I'm always scared to start learning how to sew using the machine. I can sew by hand just fine though.
Clean my room. Sounds simple but my room is a challenge xD lol. I have a lot of clothes that I have no idea where to store. I'm sure I can put them somewhere but my closet is getting a tad too packed. I want to donate the ones I know for sure I don't use anymore, but....I just can't part ways with those items T.T it's so hard, especially the ones I know I used so often long time ago. The ones I need to get rid of badly are a lot of the tank top ones as well as the baby-doll shirts and tanks because they make you look preggers--well not all--some are quite flattering, but the ones I have aren't that lol. I'm thinking of selling some here on my blog because a lot of them are in still good condition, but I just don't know how to go about selling them xD I've never done that kind of thing before. Oh and figuring out whether to throw away my school notes or not is hard so I have tons of papers all over the floor @_@
Begin and continue eating at least one piece of fruit a day and salads each week and drink water. I need to be healthy, especially after eating Chick-Fil-A almost each day for several years here at my university x.x My skin isn't too happy with the unhealthiness so I need to eat them veggies and drink lots of water.
Jog once a week. I'm SO lazy with exercising and I wanted to make it a goal to be able to run a mile by the end of this summer when I return back to school to use the school gym.
Keep calm, trust, be logical, and have confidence. This will be the most challenging for me. I freak out over the dumbest things, make unreasonable assumptions/jump to conclusions, make ridiculous accusations as well as not use my brain. I know that sounds nuts to not use your brain but really, I don't have too much confidence in my intelligence. I see all around me my Asian fellows making straight A's and in high school I was never in those AP/IB classes (because my mom forbid me to because she didn't think I was smart enough) and so with all that negativity put on me, as well as the lack of challenging classes and situations, my brain certainly hasn't been exercised enough. I know I'm not dumb. I'm just not confident. I know if I just believe in myself and kick out those "you're a failure" or "you're not smart enough" words that were thrown to me all my life, I really could get those straight A's and learn a lot.
Speak Up. I have an awful habit of not speaking up for what I want. In the long-time-ago past, I've always said "o whatever you want to do" or just not say anything at all if I want to do something as simple as walking into a store in the mall while with my friends. My mom has taught me since I was little to not be greedy, selfish, a show off, etc, so then now I get stepped on all over, get used, and feel deprived because I feel too guilty to ask for what I need and want. I get scared of people's opinions if I speak up for what I want, but now I know, no one will ever know what I need to provide it if I stay silent. I need to believe and know that I deserve those things. I shouldn't deprive myself into misery anymore.
Blog more often. Again, inspired by Natikiru. I love how personal and deep her posts are, and I truly appreciate all the effort she puts into her reviews. Her reviews are NEVER half-assed. Very thorough and very honest. Love that girl. And reading her blog really inspired me to get back to blogging and overall being a better person as well as seeing life in a new and positive light.
Hang out with Mom. I feel guilty about this one. She drives me nuts most of the time and makes me severely depressed, but I know she wants to hang out with me. We used to hang out much more often but now its nonexistent. I should take her out to lunch and go shopping with her sometime because I know it'd make her really happy and a lot less lonely. She puts up with my crap but gives a lot to me, and I feel like despite feeling pretty much miserable around her (and that isn't meant as an insult--I just mentally cannot absorb any more negativity thrown at me by her), I should suck it up here and there to give to her.

Nails: Nicole by OPI in Blue Lace

Hey yall!

Long time no blog!

Finished with finals of course, and now it's summer so I have more time :)

I've mainly been lurking around blogs commenting and such, and I'll admit have been lazy with my blog, but I'm back. Yay!

I did my nails the other day because I was bored (summer boredom!) and thought to try out the nail polish I got for free because of a Seventeen Magazine coupon I got online LONGGGGG time ago for ULTA.

The subbrand Nicole from OPI I heard has been discontinued, so I don't know if this color is still in production but I definitely do see Nicole polishes still sold in store so yall can see if they still have it :) This is a nice mermaid-ish teal and I think it's summery. I added some glitter nail polish from Covergirl at the tips to make the look more fun.

I honestly think the Nicole line was just discontinued on this one website that sells nailpolish. It simply said "discontinued" but I still see PLENTY of Nicole polishes at Target and CVS and other places so I don't think yall have to worry. Sorry for scaring yall!!! xDDD

I painted my nails a couple weeks ago but forgot to take a picture of them! And lately my good OPI , or any nail polishes for that matter, have been chipping quite quickly. I don't know if it's because I use my hands a lot for work or if it's just my base coat. I know my top coat Seche Vite is really good. I use Orly Nail Bonder as my base coat and it doesn't seem like it's performing like it used to. Do yall have any suggestions for me on excellent base coats to try out?

Random Ramblings

Hey yall

Just been busy with school and also haven't been in the mood to blog unfortunately. Honestly though, I do have time, it's just I end up feeling guilty if I blog instead of study. Like, I start to think, "k I shouldn't be doing this. I should be reading or reworking some of those problems." So then that leads me to feeling guilty right now even typing this lol

Beauty Related Updates:

I bought Naruko products because I watched Fuzkittie's youtube video on it and decided to try it out--and I was completely excited to know that their products don't contain sulfur, a huge plus in my book. So far so good actually! I'm liking the products a lot. The smell is amazing. Of course I've only had it for merely 2 weeks but my skin definitely has not been breaking out from it so I'll continue to use it and see where it leads me :)

Also, I have purchase the Storm palette from SleekMakeup. Now let me tell you this, SleekMakeup's shipping is FUCKING SLOW. I understand they're from the UK, but the Naruko products came within just one week (using the same UK postal service), and I ordered from a UK-located store. Also, their products come...slightly used? Like, the eyeshadows seemed fine to me, but the mirror looked as if there were mascara and eyeliner marks. I demanded a replacement and they sent me one right away, which is nice and good, but the next one came in with the mirror "windex-ed" if you know what I mean. I see the streaks on the mirror so I know somehow it was used and they were wiping away things. I don't know what's going on but, I do like the product in itself--very pigmented--but the way they handle their company as well as the cleanliness of their products SUCKS. If you have a UK friend, try getting asking them to buy it and send it to you rather than buying from the company directly.

Last year I bought an Epilator after that post I had asking what is the best way to remove hair. I love this contraption lol. K I feel like I'm just doing short reviews--I probably should do more in depth ones xD But anyway, I like it a lot, but it's not perfect. Bought the Emagin Emjoi from Amazon.

So really, I've been purchasing quite a lot lol. I haven't listed everything xD I also bought a lot of on-sale clothes, like $5 shorts and $10 shirt, etc, and SHOESSSS haha (don't worry yall I do have my own job to pay for this lol)

I Do Not Like PrettyandCute:

I'd like to have a bitching moment here about PrettyandCute, that site that has been promoted a lot. Quite a while ago, I believe last year, I contacted PrettyandCute for samples of the Lioele Water Drop BB cream because Eki kindly suggested to me to ask them for samples (since my skin is so sensitive I want to try it out before buying). PrettyandCute completely ignored my email to them. At least they could have said "no, i'm sorry but we do not have samples for those at the moment" or something. Eki told me PrettyandCute has samples, and Eki was super duper sweet trying to help me out, but alas PrettyandCute never responded to me and ignored my email.

Strike one. So then there were some products that Jen from FrmHeadToToe used that I wanted the ingredients for (because obviously as I have repeated this a million times, I'm heavily allergic to sulfur so I REALLY do not want to spend like $50 on products only to make me sent back to the dermatologist on 10002384927 diff pills and creams). They replied to me saying that it would take too long to type up every ingredient on the box, so they suggest I google it first. Ok, I understand that it is technically a lot to type up, but it is THEIR duty to provide customer service and they dismissed me. I already googled up the products to find the ingredients, so I already did my research, which is exactly why I decided to email them because they are the ones providing the products and I had no other source to get the ingredients. Honestly to me that's lazy service.

So then I emailed Jen, and Jen talked to the representative and then finally PrettyandCute were SOOO apologetic telling me they don't tolerate that kind of lack of customer service so they took a picture of one of the 4 products I asked about by taking the picture with their iPhone and sending me the photo. I was thankful and sent the email back asking them if they can send me the other ingredients. Thank goodness I asked them for the ingredients because it turns out that the product I wanted had sulfur! So after asking them for the other ingredients, they NEVER responded to me again. Poor customer service. They were clearly avoiding me. If it's that simple and easy to take a picture with the iPhone to send me the ingredients, why can't they just post that stuff up on their site so they don't have many emails from people like me who need to have ingredients list sent to them? Why not get it done in one shot and post it on the website? There are many girls like me who are allergic to things and really need to check the ingredients list.

What pissed me off was that it took me contacting Jen, who was completely so sweet in helping me (thank you Jen!!! :) ), for PrettyandCute to do something. They respond to their affliates, but for "little people" like me, my emails were ignored. Pathetic.

Needless to say, PrettyandCute, you do NOT have my business, not now, not ever. You're only exuding an extremely nice appearance through your affiliates to get your customers and when you ignore customers in need like me, you pretty much lost potential profit/income. I really was going to buy a good load from you, but not anymore! --end rant--

Now there are some people who were quite offended by what that lady wrote, however in my opinion, I think it's rather spot on and have learned quite a bit from it. That article sure knocked sense into me and I am guilty of probably half of that list xD

Hey yall :)

It's been a while since I blogged! Btw, fellow blogger The Little Dust Princess informed me that my blog page has been cut off on the left side. I was wondering if anyone else had trouble viewing my page? If so, I'm really sorry ><. To be honest, I don't really know how to fix it x.x She said she's having trouble on Firefox, and it works fine for me on my firefox, but I'm currently using Google Chrome. If someone knows how to fix this, I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions xD

I had one of my friends visit my page through Internet Explorer and he said that if he makes his window small/minimized, he cant scroll sideways and such, so there's something wrong with how my template was made. I just got one of those free templates xD! Then made some minor color adjustments, put up my banner, then extended the size of my blog thing to fit my 700pixel wide pictures. I've also noticed that my right side panel has migrated to the bottom of my webpage and I don't know what on earth is wrong :( Someone please help ;.;

Aside from that, school has begun!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I'm nervous for this semester because I'm taking Finance and I have the worst teacher in the world. She's infamous for having people drop out and fail her course, even WITH curves, and NOW there will NOT be ANY curves whatsoever. She said if every single person in class fails, then so be it. Every person fails and she doesn't give a damn. Can we as students complain to the school board or dean at that point? Because this seems like a death class.

1. Why did you create this blog?

I created this blog because one of my old bloggerette friends ILurveMakeup persuaded me to get a blog. I was very scared to to be honest because I felt that I'm not "pro" enough, you know what I mean? lol. I see gurus out there and I'm like, I know I won't be able to do awesome tutorials and what not--just mainly product reviews. Also I'm not the richest person--I'm in college! (but really I'm a money-saving addict) I always see many other girls do tons of hauling, and I felt discouraged to keep this blog because I knew I didn't have enough of a variety to show yall for makeup and among other beauty items. However I grew to love blogging and helping out others. Whenever I want a product, I do HEAVY researching on blogs as well as MUA and I really depend on these reviews to help me, and knowing that my reviews help others is great.

2. What kind of blogs do you follow?

I follow blogs that typically have thorough product reviews and post up some of their fashion as well so I can get inspiration. And I really do like blogs that have personality in them, not just that robotic typing up of product reviews and being too technical. I want to know my bloggers :<

3. Favourite kind of makeup?

Well lol, I haven't exactly deviated from my mom's "free gift with purchase" makeup stuff xD And really I don't wear makeup too often and only have the basics. I did order Sleek Makeup Storm palette but have yet to receive it (because their customer service sucks btw!!!) so I don't want to say that's my favourite just yet. I do love my Rock & Republic blush and eyeshadows so far (especially the packaging!) and I definitely appreciate NYX, as well as Revlon lipglosses. I guess I'd like to own Japanese makeup like Lavuschka, Kate, VOV, Kanebo, Majolica Majorca, etc because I know their quality is good and their packaging is to die for lol. K yea I can't really pinpoint my favourite cuz I only have like a couple items from each brand =/

4. Favourite clothing brand?

H&M omg LOVE LOVE LOVE. Too bad they don't have a store here in Houston! I also love Zara, Asos, Urban Outfitters, Forever21 (some of their stuff), TopShop, Target (they're getting in pretty good stuff nowadays!), Ann Taylor Loft (they're stepping it up in style though I haven't really boughten anything from them except for a sweater so far lol but it's currently my favorite sweater! Kinda pricey of a store for me), Express, and I love stopping by Ross and Marshalls and among other discount stores :) I don't care about name brand honestly. I just like the styles from those stores and then I'll find no-name brand stuff at Ross and Marshalls that are amazing, BUT you gotta dig past the really fugly stuff to find the gems lol, whereas stores like Zara and H&M are consistent with how awesome the style and quality are.

5. Your indispensable makeup product?

Gah this is hard, but I'd have to say eyeliner. I rarely go out with foundation on so that's a no brainer I wouldn't pick that. I feel comfortable in my skin--even though I still have acne scars and some zits T___T but o well it's okay. It's not that bad. I thought about concealer and mascara. Concealer is definitely helpful but I think I'm able to go outside with my undereye circles like I normally do anyway lol, and then for mascara, although I use it VERY often, eyeliner helps define my eyes much better. I can make it subtle or dramatic.

6. Your favourite color?

BLUE <3 I like white and black too but blue is best :) (even tho half of my closet is black! xD)

7. Your perfume?

I actually don't use perfume. I'm too lazy to and also I'm very scared that someone might not like my perfume or may be allergic to it so I don't wear it. But honestly it's because I'm lazy xD. I just don't think about it you know? I just get out the door and on to school. I do still have body sprays here and there but I'll rarely use it. However in middle school I religiously sprayed my hair brush with bath and body works sprays and then brush my hair so the scent can seep into my hair. I remember people loving that blueberry ish scent that is now discontinued, but anyway, yea I don't do that anymore either lol.

8. Your favourite film?

Too many to list! I am a fan of the Disney movies :) Up from Pixar definitely touched me. It's so sad!! xD, but still very very good. I enjoyed Dispicable Me OMG so CUTE! I love the minions :3 Anyway, I actually don't watch movies that often other than the popular ones.

9. What country would you like to visit and why?

There's too many places I wanna visit >.< I want to visit Japan, Australia, all over Europe...EVERYWHERE!

10. Makeup the last question and answer.

What is your favorite drink? It's a tie between Milk (1 or 2%), Mango Green Tea tapioca, Thai Tea tapioca, and that Nestle lipton tea mixed berry bottled drink lol

My Beauty Resolutions!

Hey yall :)

Everyone's doing their beauty resolutions so I thought hey why not.

And these are in no particular order

Use chapstick regularly
This year I've noticed that my lips have bled and cracked so much more than any other year!! It's just awful. That's why I made my last post on chapsticks. I actually grew impatient and went ahead and bought the Nivea one while I was out on new years xD My lips were so dry I was like, omgggg I'll just freakin buy it lol
Lotion myself regularly
Again, I just ignored my skin this year and now I see my legs have these awful looking patches of dry skin. It looks like I've been bruised or something. It's really NOT attractive right now lol I don't know why I've become so lazy with it. I used to do it almost everyday! My mom bought me Bath & Body Works lotions (YESS Cool Citrus Basil--my favorite scent!) so I think that may motivate me to lotion up more!
Exercise!!!
I know I'm a puny person but I sure am pretty weak. I used to do swimming when I was in elementary as well as iceskating, and then in highschool I was on the tennis team for 2 years, but then I quit and my exercise was nonexistent from there. I keep telling myself I'll exercise at school but it never happens! I seem to have hours of gap between classes for this spring 11 semester so I'll make use of that. I need to go at least once a week! Preferably 2x or more
Drink More Water
I really don't think I drink enough water. I'm sure my skin would be much happier if I drank like 3-4 bottles worth of water each day. I always forget and then at school I feel scared if I drink too much water then I'll have to pee in class xD
Brush and Cut my hair regularly
Believe it or not, this year I rarely brushed my hair! xD I only brushed through it after a shower but that was it. In the morning I typically would dash out the door, with my hair unbrushed/untouched from the moment I got out of bed. It looked fine lol, but then my hair remained tangled and then tons of split ends formed. REALLY bad. I also was trying to grow out my hair so I didn't cut it for like half a year--big mistake. I learned that even when growing out your hair, at least get a trim inbetween or else you'll get a LOT of split ends. Every 3 months is a good number to go back to your haircutter. Oh and fun random fact: I've been using the same blue Conair brush since I was in 8th grade xD Maybe that's an ew? haha I have attachments to this brush lol. Plus it still works fine and I clean it out so I don't see why I should throw it out.
Use sheet masks once or twice a week
I need to treat my skin nicely. This will give me a good 20 minute cat nap each time to relax and also moisturize my face.
Sleep earlier
I've been sleeping SO late this semester. Often 2-3am, sometimes 4am, NOT doing HW lol, but rather just staying online chatting and browsing blogs etc, so I think that is an unhealthy habit ruining my skin and overall health. More sleep! I'll make note to go to bed at 1am max, but try to get to bed around midnight. Of course exceptions will be made for the times I need to cram for a midterm or whatever.
Use my accessories
If yall read my 20 random things about me post, then yall know that I never use my accessories even though I have so many xD. I'm usually lazy or I forget. I have many cute earrings and necklaces and I should start using them again!
FLOSS
Okay for some of yall this is gross. I rarely floss my teeth. But don't worry I do brush my teeth morning and night lol xD I just get so lazy with flossing! But I should take care of my teeth because I'm lucky to have naturally straight teeth, no braces, and they are healthy teeth too so I should appreciate them more and take care of them.
Make use of my lipglosses
Again, if yall read my 20 random things about me post, yall know that I have a bajillion lipglosses and I just don't use them! xD lol I feel weird if I just walked out of the house with only lipgloss on. But honestly I think a little lipcolor can really brighten up your face some. I need to use them up!!
Take my vitamins regularly!
Okay I think taking fish oil and vitamin E oil helps and I sure haven't been good with taking them =/ My multivitamins have expired and I should get a new bottle. I just hate taking pills. I don't know why. I know it's easy to pop in and swallow but...it's just annoying to remember you know? But I think it'll be best for my health if I take them, not to mention good for my skin too since Fish oil and vitamin E is good for your skin. BTW, use these vitamins at your own discretion. Unfortunately one of my best friends has had a nosebleed from this because it thinned out her blood too much, so make sure to ask your doctor if it's okay for yall to use. It might be too powerful for your body.

I think that may be it? haha I guess I'll add more if I think of them.

I am in search for the most awesome chapstick haha

I have tried a couple of chapsticks, and I really never liked any! haha

Anddddd buying a chapstick that's expensive like the Dior one or La Mer one is totallyyyy out of the question xD

Well, I DO use my Korres Lip Balm and I love it to pieces, but it's in a POT, and I really was looking more for a STICK where it won't be inconvenient to apply when I'm out and I don't have some napkin to wipe my fingers on after application. Korres Lip Balm is REALLY nice though. Definitely moisturizes my lips without getting waxy on me like most chapsticks.

One chapstick I've been eying and hearing good things about is the Nivea Lip Care A Kiss Of Moisture:

I have already tried Burt's Bees and I found it WAY too WAXY and somehow made my chapped lips even more chapped!!! xD

As for the regular Chapstick brand, I feel like it makes my lips addicted to it, making me use more and more to maintain my lips versus repairing my lips and just using it whenever I need to.

Alright if the chapstick is super duper promising with each and every application, I think I can shell out like $10 ish, but I really would prefer drugstore brand!

I spent my xmas with one of my best friends and went to Chinatown.

Went to Juicebox on Bellaire and just stopped around and hung out, chatted, etc :)

I've had a good number of products on my lemming list and the list keeps growing BIGGER! omg lol. And so yes, I just wanted to share it with yall what has been on my mind! I'm not sure if I actually will be getting these products yet because like I have said in my previous posts, I've been spending way too much! But hey, I can still wish right?

Urban Decay Naked Palette $44
+ This palette definitely is something I can see myself reaching for rather than collect dust like my other eyeshadows. The price tag is bang for your buck but I just can't see myself shelling out $44 for makeup I guess, since I don't wear makeup on a daily basis. I'm still high considering buying this though! Oh, and I definitely don't mind getting the eyeliners! I've been wanting Urban Decay's eyeliner since they're good so this is a great way to get 2 of them!
E.L.F. Contouring Blush and Bronzer Powder $3
+ $3 for blush and bronzer? Great deal! I've heard great reviews about the quality and pigment of this and I want to get it. I think the bronzer is great as a neutral blush when you have your focus on your eyes for the makeup and for contouring. However, I really don't need it! I'm currently using a neutral blush from Lancome, which is a mini free gift with purchase from my mom's bathroom. It's really old and I guess I'm tired of using gift with purchase items because that's majority of what I freakin own lol So despite the cheap price tag, I'm in no dire need to rush to this, but because of the cheap price, I'm so tempted to get it because it's so easy to do so! haha
Black Riding Boots [cost will vary. but probably will end up past $100 :( ]
+ Flat boots so my feet won't die on me while having a heavy backpack at school or really so my feet don't die anywhere I go lol. This obviously is a purchase that can wait lol because it's just so damn PRICEY. But I see it as an investment. I know my feet won't be growing any bigger so I can wear this pretty much for the rest of my life as long as the boot holds up with me. I just think its great to wear whenever. I love how the girl wore it below with black tights and gray knee high socks. Great combo!
Nude Pumps [price will vary]
+ I just want a pair of comfortable nude heels. I have a comfy pair of black pumps but I think sometimes black is too strong for some outfits and a nude heel will be more feminine and soft vs the dramatic look of a black pump. Also, sometimes black pumps look slutty with some outfits and I feel that a nude pump will help.
Moar Sheet Masks!!! [Silk Whitia, My Beauty Diary, and among other brands $1-16]
+ I actually have enough of these =X I got a huge Sasa haul of Silk Whitia's because of the BOGO deal and I should use all that up. But I just get paranoid when I use one and I see my stash disappearing xD I just always want to have an safety stock inventory(my supply chain management class terminology right there! xD *nerd*) haha. But yea, this can DEFINITELY be put on hold, which is a good thing so I can save my money for other things I have none of!
Japanese eyeshadow palettes
+ They're good quality, nicely pigmented, beautiful colors (though the one below is more of a smokey-eye palette, but you get my point). I've seen Kate, Maquillage, Lavuschka(sp?), and among other Japanese eyeshadow palettes and do not own one. They are pricey to me though but one day...I'd love to own one. The packaging is pretty much all levels of awesome.

+ Everyone seems to love this shampoo! My guyfriend likes this shampoo a lot too lol. Guy-approved! haha, so, it must be good then :) Too bad it's like $15! ouch =/ My current shampoo isn't good at all. It's the Dove shampoo that's in the white packaging and a slanted top. I like the smell (cool cucumber or whatever it is) but gosh it gives me dandruff! xD I'd love to switch over to this Tsubaki
Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion[$10-15]
+I also heard many good reviews about this specific brand of super hyaluronic acid. I heard the Aqua brand of hyaluronic acid lotion isn't as good as Hada Labo. I can only find it on Sasa so far and that is a pain in the butt to get, especially with their warehouse relocation and all these delays in shipping unless you pay the $15 expedited shipping -__- oh well. My current toner/lotion is running out and I really want this one!

+ My Ardell Browh & Lash Growth Accelerator gel has been discontinued and replaced with an expensive $40 one, and the one I have is so old, I should throw it out =X I'd like to try this one out to see if it'll strengthen my lashes and help them fall out less from mascara usage. I think even if I dont' get growth in length from this, I think it's important to maintain one's lashes so they are happy and healthy so they dont' fall out :)

A New Purse
+ The purse pictured below is a Balenciaga, but there's no way in hell I will be able to afford this lol. I just put it there as a general idea that I want a new purse even though I just got one. Why? because my TopShop dupe of the PS1 bag broke. The strap that goes around your chest broke :( it was the metal part too. the hook snapped off and I was like WTF? But honestly I won't be getting another handbag for a while. I stuck the remainder of the metal clasp thing through the hole/hook so I can still strap it around me, but it'll fall off periodically which is annoying. I can still use the bag by holding the handle though. So yea...I'll continue to use it.
Clothes from the asian wholesale sites
+ Usually these clothes are a hit or a miss, so I do careful researching. I haven't boughten anything yet but I'm still contemplating on placing a purchase. A lot of their stuff is really cute! Shipping sucks though lol, but you still get some things very cheap even with the shipping.
The last thing I'm lemming for, or more rather hoping for and needing, is goodluck and to have a better year in 2011 because 2010 has been absolutely horrible for me.

Hey yall!

Met up with fellow Houstonian blogger Vivien (click here for her blog!) and we went shopping at the Galleria

She's definitely a sweet and funny girl. Visit her blog :)

We first stopped at DSW, but alas neither of us could find the shoes that we wanted =/

Next stop is the Galleria and I finally got my hands on the Sperry Top Sider shoes. I've been lemming these for quite a while!! I've always been iffy on getting these boat shoes because I didn't want my feet to look like a man lol. So when I found these, I fell in love with them. I found every excuse possible to get them (Vivien can attest to this lol). This pair is much more girly looking than the other women's Sperry's shoes I've seen, so I had to snag it.

Unfortunately, only the display was left in my size =/. I tried both the dead-end-of-the-mall Macy's as well as the new Macy's that took over Foley's long time ago in level 4 of the Galleria. BOTH only had displays left! How ridiculous. I had to get them though =/. I did get a 10% discount though for it being a display so that's good--though I think I should have gotten more because who knows how many feet have tried these!!! ew.

The saleswoman Vivien and I had at the dead end mall Macy was SO sweet. Best customer service I've ever had. She never was pushy, mean, or any of that. She was very attentive without being hovering and she was always there to get the shoes you need. I felt so bad after having her take out so many shoes to try on and not leaving with any :( She said a new pair is still in stock in the newer Macy's so that's why I left this Macy's. I felt so guilty! The lady who "helped" me at the new Macy's was actually rude. SHE ROLLED HER EYES AT ME when I showed her the receipt of inventory printed out from the other Macy's, showing that there STILL is a new pair in the back. Are you fucking serious? Rolling your eyes at a customer when I wasn't even rude to her??? I really wanted to write down like a customer survey, get her name, and tell her manager how rude that was! She was short and choppy with me, and I didn't like that AT ALL. The other lady at the old Macy's was a perfect 10 in customer service. People need to learn from that woman. She knows what she's doing.

Okay onward to the more fun part! PICTURES :D

wheeeee I'm so happy with them. My feet now won't hurt anymore! haha

They were $75, but because they were displays they marked off 10% and I had a $20 Macy's gift card from like years ago from Christmas so I used that and my total came out to be $53.xx :)

BTW for those of yall who are planning to buy Sperry's, the saleswoman told me that the suede interior you see here will be discontinued...something like that? And will be replaced with a fuzzy interior, similar to UGG boots, cept I'm sure not AS fuzzy, but you get the point. If you don't want that type of interior then I suggest you buy these now before the new year starts off with the newer versions. If you want the fuzzies then wait for next year :D I don't know how true this is--the saleswoman simply could have been misinformed or misinterpreted just one type of style having the fuzzy interior rather than all. If anyone knows about this, please do confirm or correct me :)

Just wanted to share with yall what I purchased this week.

Honestly I've been pretty bad this year in terms of how much I'm spending. I usually am a very cheap person. Like...so cheap you'd be severely annoyed to shop with me xD but lately I've just gotten a bad habit of spending. (yes i DO have a job so I don't go ask my parents to get these things for me unless my mom insists on the purchase).

I think the purchasing craze happened when I made my purchase to TopShop some months ago for my purse and skirt for my birthday and I spent a lot since it was my birthday and I felt I should splurge since people who know me definitely know I neverrrr come out of the mall with a bag lol.

I think I should slow down next year on the purchases and save up more. I have a good amount in savings, however I still want it to stack up more. I'm a money-saving freak. And hey, even though I haven't graduated college yet and am still living with my parents (because they won't let me move out...) I think the saved money could come in handy one day for an emergency in case, such as paying for an apartment elsewhere after graduation, or even emergency money to pay bills if I don't have a job right away after college.

Anyway onward to the haul!

I tried justifying my purchase... like for the black leggings, I just need one for the rest of my life unless I rip these or grow out of them or if they wear out completely, so I thought it was a good investment. The socks were the "splurge" because despite the cheap $2.50 price tag, I really didn't need it lol. Sure I can use it forever but it's really for extra fashion purposes.

Sally Beauty:

I've been into painting my nails lately (and keep forgetting to take pics of my nails! I do have some I did take a pic of that I still need to put up!) and so I want to make cool designs but having to use a toothpick or whatever is so tedious lol. So I opted to get these instead. Originally they're like $3.99 or $4.99 so having it on sale for $2.99 is fine for me since I know I won't be purchasing these multiple times. I'm sure these bottles will last me years lol. Then as I mentioned earlier, the hair mask is what Jen FrmHeadToToe recommended in her Naughty and Nice Video and I wanted to try it out. So far it's okay. It hasnt made my hair super duper soft which was what I was hoping for. I'll try it several times more to form my verdict. Maybe I'm just not putting enough of it in my hair? I don't know if I'm using it wrong..? O.o...

I also bought some Sperry loafers/boat shoes today. They're gorgeous (even though they were the display ones...mehh). I'll post those later :)

Thank yall for all the warm wishes for my finals! I took one today at 8:30am, which was excruciating to wake up 6am despite not sleeping til 1 or 2am, and then drive nearly an hr to school (yes my school is that far from me T__T) I have one last one Tuesday! That is the only class I have hope left in to get an A xD . I already found out I got a B- for Marketing. I'm extremely disappointed. What a horrible GPA!!! B- is 2.7 or whatever added in. That'll bring what I have down :(

Hey yall :)

Just popped in for a little bit. I have a final tomorrow!!! International Business Politics of Globalization and I have to memorize 11 pages in a word document worth of information. Gah

Well here's some entertainment for yall and to get to know yours truly better lol ;)

Random things about me!

1) I do not like tomatoes. Yes that includes ketchup people. Sorry lol. I don't like spaghetti or lasagna, however I love pizza which includes of course tomato sauce.

2) I love plucking. I want to pluck your eyebrows and anything you allow me to. There's something satisfying about pulling it out lol (I'm not creepy I swear! T__T )

3) I'm 100% Vietnamese. I have been mistakened for Chinese and Korean the most, probably because my skin is VERY light and because of my eye shape.

4) Having said that I am Vietnamese, another shameful thing I must confess is that I don't like nuoc mam, aka Fish Sauce. For those of you that don't know, Fish Sauce is basically the equivalent level of ketchup here in America. Not using this condiment is unheard of and I have been questioned SO many times from parent's friends and waiters/waitresses why I refuse to dip my food in it. Sorry. I just don't like the scent nor the taste :( I'm so not Viet T___T

5) I have SO many lipglosses but I never use them! I love how they look and love that they can be moisturizing and all, but I ALWAYS forget to put it on OR I forget to reapply =/ I have like over 10 lipglosses and/or lipsticks..I swear...I really need to use them =/

6) I absolutely LOVE photography. I just don't have a DSLR unfortunately. My friend was selling his Canon T1i to get the 7D but no...I couldn't afford it :( Such a beautiful camera, though I'm sure I'd have to shell out some more for a good lens. Someday I hope to own a DSLR! (and now how to edit in Adobe Photoshop too) I am that annoying friend who has to stop and take a picture of everything while you have to wait for me, or, feel humiliated standing next to me as I take a picture of something you wouldn't even give a second thought of lol

7) One of my all time favorite Vietnamese dishes is Dam Gam. It's similar to Bun Thang but without the noodles. It has chicken broth, or pork broth, whichever you choose to make, rice, and then pile up on scrambled egg slices, viet ham (gio) slices, and some other meat. It's SO good.

8) Speaking of food, I LOVE Banh Mi Thap Cam (combination viet sammich) and Banh Mi Thit Nuong (BBQ Pork viet sammich)

9) I am very OCD with how I put up the cups in the cupboard from the dishwasher. They must all "fit". If the cup has a handle, then I must turn it all the same direction so they fit rather than put a handled cup there and then a glass cup next. I MUST coordinate them or else it'll bug me :(

10) I worry. WAY. TOO. MUCH. to the point where it is quite harmful to my mental health.

11) I love to game but I just SUCK at it. So horribly. This includes Halo, Company of Heroes, Age of Empires II, you know, those games similar to World of Warcraft and StarCraft. They are so much fun but I'm so horrible with strategy! I just can't keep up =/ I don't play them anymore because I feel too discouraged =/ I mean I still play Halo every now and then though since FPS is much easier to deal with than RTS

12) I love milk. I drink 1% or 2% only.

13) I dont' wear jewelry. I'm just so lazy and forgetful of it. I have a lot of accessories to wear but I just dash out the door to school and forget. I love necklaces but I also feel they're bothersome because when I bend down they like hit my face -___- and bracelets...they get in the way when I'm trying to write =/ The one thing I do wear on a daily basis is my James Avery limited edition butterfly earrings which are from 1999--when I was 9! That was 11 years ago o___o

14) I have road rage. Houston drivers are so effin dumb, it's difficult to not beep someone who decides to switch to your lane straight into your door when you're already in that lane. Or they decide to just stop at a yellow light. Or they go 30 mph when you're supposed to go 50mph. The worst is Chinatown where people think it's completely okay to pile 6-7 cars in a median and squish through an inch, nearly breaking off your mirrors, or they drive straight into you and stop right there and you wonder where to move now.

15) I am overly analytical when purchasing items. I go as far as calculating cost per unit if I'm at the grocery store (if they don't provide the unit cost) or at the mall if things are sold in a pack. I'm obsessed with saving money. Sometimes it's annoying to other people but I think hey, I'm saving money and getting a good product. I'm being money smart! If I shop online, I look at MANY different sites for the same item, and compare shipping cost and return policies just to make sure.

16) I do NOT like 3D movies. They make me dizzy and no, I don't want things flying at me during the movie distracting me from the wonderful movie itself. I also did not see much 3D effect in Avatar. Is it just me?? I mean the most I saw were the trees flowing over me lol. Really, I find it a waste of money when movie tickets are already expensive as is.

17) I'm not very fond of touch screens. I do have an iTouch and I think it's okay for basic stuff, but if I want to text/write something, I find it so troublesome. I'd rather have an actual button to push so that I don't press the wrong thing.

18) I LOVE traveling and have been VERY fortunate to have visited:

In the US: NYC (twice), Boston (twice), Maine, Rhode Island, Washington DC, Florida, Nevada (Las Vegas), Colorado, Arizona (just for the Hoover Dam for a couple hours)
Outside US: Canada (Niagara Falls and Toronto), Mexico (Cancun), London, Paris, Venice & Florence in Italy, Germany, Amsterdam in Netherlands, Austria, Burn in Switzerland, and Vietnam

19) I wear glasses and my vision is -5.75

20) I just got my haircut a bit too....short. The bangs anyway :( I'm hoping for them to grow out soon so it doesn't look so wonky.

Houston Food: Jungle Cafe Blackforest Cake

Hey yall :)

I didn't buy this cake btw lol. A friend brought it and I had a chance to taste it.

Honestly it didn't live up to its hype! Those of yall who frequent Chinatown has heard of the Jungle Cafe for its really awesome desserts, particularly this Blackforest Cake.

The cake is light and spongey, so it doesn't feel heavy and it doesn't make you feel guilty for eating it lol (though I'm sure it's packed with calories! xD)

But honestly, I thought I was gonna be blown away by unique taste or whatever, but I wasn't. That's not to say this isn't a good cake--it is! I HATE traditional chocolate cake. It's just so thick and heavy and intense. If I were to eat chocolate cake, this definitely would take my attention. I do like it and will eat it again. I just don't crave it.

If yall are skeptical bout it, just buy their individual slice to try it out rather than the full cake. It's tasty enough to try :)

So I'll leave you here with pics of the cake. Sorry I forgot to take a pic of what it looks like from the inside! It's just a very light colored brown cake with some white frosting in between.

Houston Amore Store: My First Laneige Item! Laneige Pore Clear Cleansing Foam

Hey yall!

I have FINALLYYYYYYYY discovered an Amore store here in Houston! For those of you who live in or around Houston, TX, Take I-10 and exit Blalock Rd, across from Memorial City mall; the same exit you'd take to go to Super H Mart or 99 Ranch Market. Go down Blalock towards Super H Mart and you'll hit a traffic light and the plaza in front of you has this 24 Fitness gym. Go into that plaza because that's where the Amore store is! Enjoy!!! :)

I first went to Super H mart to get those sheet masks I mentioned before, and the lady there told me to go to the Amore store nearby. I flipped outtttttt. I was like...HOUSTON??? how is it possible we have such a thing lol

Needless to say, I went in asap another day when the owner of the store wasn't sick/ill anymore.

I ended up buying the the Pore Clear Cleansing Foam. I'll do a thorough review later, but I must say I'm loving this product so far! ;)

The lady who worked there was SO SWEET! She really tried her hardest though to sell me items as any saleswoman would lol, but she wasn't rude or mean about it. I came in with the intention to buy something anyway so I guess it didn't matter for me.

I came in wanting to buy the Laneige Multicleanser but changed my mind to this! She has testers for EVERY single item. The masks, the cleansers, emulsions, lotion/toner. I was in heaven lol. Honestly though, after trying on anything, you as a customer really would feel prettyyyyy bad not buying anything xD But after I bought this, I'm sure she remembers my face and maybe won't push next time now that I know the products...?

I DO need to come back to take a look at some ingredients though. She was very nice and gave me a generous amount of samples for the sunscreen from the Star White collection and Pore Clear emulsion.

The amount they give for each item is nice (cleanser, toner/lotion, and emulsion)!! I'd say it's worth the $20-22 price tag seeing as like MAC moisturizers and Clinique ones are the same price but sometimes give you less product.

Overall I'm gonna come back to this store and get my hands on more of these products to invest into my skincare because I wub my skin :) Though I hopeeee the lady will be generous again and give me samples of the product before I buy it. I told her many times of my allergies so maybe she'll understand (she didn't register into her mind that im allergic to sulfur so I had to tell her a number of times. It's ok though, I understand because her english isn't perfect)

Alrightee I shall get going to finish my assignment!

Camwhore Session!

Hey yall!

haha the title is so vain xD

I know yall rarely see my face posted lol and I feel that as a blogger, yall should know who your blogger is!! xD

Even though I run a beauty blog, to be honest, I DON'T wear makeup on a daily basis. In fact, I RARELY do a full face FOTD going out unless I have a lunch/dinner date with my best friend and stuff like that, so that's why yall don't see EOTD's or FOTD's from me. I'm sorry >_< I'm more concentrated about having nice skin and then makeup comes second. Unfortunately the right side of my face is breaking out but it's calming down now (you'll see in one of the pics below my zits on the side of my face lol) Anyway, that is not to say yall won't ever see FOTD's or EOTD's from me. Maybe I'll have a makeup phase and post more on that some day. I'm not sure yet ^^;; In the pictures below, I'm not wearing any makeup (hence the redness around my nose and cheeks and zits) other than L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black (will do a review on this later! look out for it!)

E.L.F. Holiday Nail Polish Trio Review and Swatches

Hey yall :)

About a few weeks ago I stopped by a Target to buy something--I forgot what I bought lol, but I saw that Target added an ELF section! I used to go to Fiesta grocery (on Bellaire & Hwy6 I think) some odd years ago for ELF and then they discontinued it there, so I was happy to see their studio line at this location! I went to the Target in Memorial Mall but forgot to check so I don't know if they have ELF there. And I should check the Target in Sugarland too lol

Anyway, I saw this set for $3, which of course comes out to $1 per item, which is the price of all their items. I was on the fence about getting this because I didn't know the quality of it.

Review:

Packaging:

As you can see from the picture, it comes in a black box and plastic containing things to hold it. Basic. The bottle itself is sturdy, and is very similar to the recent ULTA nail polishes. I don't feel the bottle is cheap feeling--it's just standard. Hasn't broken on me *knocks on wood*

Oh, and I love the brush. It's wide and flat so that you don't have to keep going over spots. It evenly coats your nail.

The Formula:

Overall: Each one has a lot of glitter and it's GRAINY when dry.

Red:
When I first used the red color, it came out very smoothly on my nails, but after it dried, it came to a more matte ish dark red, vs the vibrant red you see when it's still wet. Some may like this, but I wasn't too much of a fan feeling my nails like that, so I put on a thick top coat of Seche Vite and then the vibrant red color that you see in the bottle came back :)

Gold Glitter:
Unfortunately I think someone had this package before me because when I opened up the gold glitter bottle, the top had dried up nail polish on it =/. Nevertheless I LOVE this one. So much glitter! You know how most glitter nail polishes you have to like...keep dipping until you can get enough glitter on the brush to get on your nails (or maybe it's just me!??!? lol)? This one you don't and you get a LOT of it. I like! Of course it dries GRAINY rather than smooth.

Clear with Glitter:
This one paints on a moderate amount of glitter--just nowhere near the amount of the gold glitter one. This is your basic glitter and the size of the glitter is medium. It's not fine glitter at all. Again, it dries grainy as you can see in the pictures.

NOTE:
The swatches do not have top coat on so I can show you how the nail polish looks in the raw. They look much better with top coat on lol. I use Seche Vite top coat, which is thick, and the thick top coat will be able to smooth out the graininess.

I finished other midterms some week ago but for some reason I'm swamped again with tests! this is ridiculous

I must admit it is my fault for poor time management. I should have done my country case report long time ago so that would have been wiped out. And I should have had all my articles read already for marketing to be able to start studying the powerpoints today instead of scrambling to read everything.

I am doing a tad better on time management though despite what I just said lol. I'm writing everything down in a time tracker and my wipey board calendar and setting complete-assignment day goals.

I just need to get this part done and overwith so I can begin my no-procrastination habit better!

Well I'm gonna go finish up my articles. Hope yall are doing well

Urban Decay Primer Potion Professional Size!

Hey yall!

Ok so I was planning to get Too Faced Shadow Insurance originally. I walked into ULTA today after school and then wanted to compare the sizes of TFSI and UDPP and I was like okay, TFSI is .35 fl oz, lemme check UDPP. Then when I got to the Urban Decay section, I was like WHOAAAAAAA what's this....this looks very very familiar.....

UDPP, SQUEEZE TUBE instead of that stupid genie bottle going on.

andddd its .84 fl oz ZOMG. this should last me like 2 years lol. hopefully it wont dry out :(

oh and ULTA gave me a freebee, because if you buy that professional size, you get a free sample of either the regular UDPP or one of the colored eyelid primers. I chose the colored primer to experience something new since I just bought that giant tube of UDPP--I don't need anymore for quiteeeee a while lol.

Plus it's cheaper per fl. oz if you get the big tube. it's .34 fl oz for the regular genie bottle listed at like $17. If you buy 2 of those, you would be spending $34 right? and that only yields .64 fl oz. vs .84 fl oz at $29 + tax ($31.xx total).

So here's my new baby below :D

Goldie Nail Polish in Pansy (friend gave me this as part of birthday present so I don't know where to purchase this) [its the pink polish in this picture]
Covergirl Boundless Color Nailpolish in #405 Disco Dazzle (sparkles at the tip)
Konad Nail Stamp plate # m55 (strawberries :D )
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

Man it took like 4 coats of the pink polish to get this opaque lol I finally realized to go in THIN layers rather than just do multiple thick coats hoping to get my polish opaque. All that does is get it all thick and goopy. Big mistake. O well now I know! :)

lol and for the sparkles, I had to take my time to swirl the brush inside the bottle to capture the big glitter flakes xD That took me the longest in doing these nails.

I'm telling you all that not to complain, but because I always look at other's nails and wonder how they did it so fast so easily and then I end up thinking I'm nail-polish-challenged haha. Nah I just wanted to let yall know I struggle with this and worked hard on these nails, not magically put them on like I'm some perfect nailpolish person. It definitely takes practice. I used to spend like 30 minutes (sometimes even an hr!! ) figuring out how to paint my nails without a huge mess. Now after a YEAR of practicing (yes im that slow!! ) I finally can paint my nails in like 10-15 min, sometimes less if I'm just doing a plain coat of polish. Success! haha. So don't feel discouraged if yall haven't gotten the hang of painting your nails. Took me quiteeeee a while lol

Puny Skincare Haul

Hey yall :)

Went yesterday to 99 Ranch Market to pick myself up a face wash since I ran out of my Shiseido Pure Whip. They didn't have any of that left in stock, which saddens me, but I think my sister told me that either Golden Food Market or Welcome market should have it (Bellaire street of course)

I was wanting to try out a new face wash anyway since I've used up 3 tubes of the Shiseido. I felt like my skin was going to become immune to the effectiveness of Shiseido Pure Whip so I wanted to change things up. I spent SO long at 99 ranch market trying to figure out what to get.

I read all the ingredients and I noticed a good number of the face washes had Mineral Oil in it...which sucks because I don't feel mineral oil is good for my skin. I wanted to get the Hyaluronic Acid face wash form Hadabisei or whatever that Japanese brand is, but it had Sulfur, which all of you know I am allergic to.

Instead, I opted for Softymo Collagen Cleansing Wash.

I also was running out of eye makeup remover. I've been using the Target dupe for Neutrogena's eye makeup remover in the blue bottle. I heard many good things about Super Off Eye Make-Up Remover so I got it. But MANNNNNNNN $15 for that 4.0 fl oz tube is RIDICULOUS. I wonder if it's even a miracle worker.

I did try it out today tho. Seems to work well so far but I cant stand the price tag.

I'll report back to yall on these two products once I've used it a good while to judge how well it works.

Question: Best At-Home Wax Kit? Epilator? What Do You Use? Help :(

Right now I'm waxing my legs and I can't keep going to the salon forever. Too much money, but I just hate shaving all the time =/ Is there a specific kit yall can recommend me from the drugstore? I've used Sally Hansen's lavender colored one(pictured below)...I didn't like it =/ . Is there any at-home waxing that's as good as the one in the salon?

I also heard a rumor that waxing over time:

can thin out the hair so that you have less hair to remove or that it becomes less visible

and/or
can cause wrinkles to your skin

Is this true? I'm sure the first one is true just because my friend had thick hair and after 1-2 years of waxing her hair grew thinner. I also visibly see my hair a TAD thinner than it was before. But I'm concerned about the 2nd one. Any word on it?

One thing I've always been curious about is Veet. I've seen so many ads for the "bladeless hair removal". Girls, does it work?? xD And how long does it last? Does your hair need to be a certain length before you cream-remove it again ? I know for waxing your hair has to be 1cm long so the wax has something to grip onto. I want to try this so badly! Any warnings or tips yall can give me?

Top Shop (PS1 dupe bag) I didn't get this bag just for the sake of trying to have a high designer brand bag. I wanted the original design for the organization it provides and the leather is sturdy and it looks sophisticated/professional enough, but also pretty so it isn't desk-job-old lady ish. The strap is very convenient when I wanna go shopping and I need 2 hands to shuffle through the clearance section :D

Hey yall!

Sasa was having a BOGO with their Silk Whitia Masks, and of course the gorgeous Fuzkittie raves about them. She has amazing skin and knows what she's talking about, so I really wanted to try out these masks that she swears by.

Here's how long it took for them to give me my stuff so yall can gauge when yall would get yours. I live in TX and they ship from Hong Kong of course.

and I have no idea how many mL of product are in each sheet mask. I looked on the packaging but I don't see it anywhere. But after using one sheet I can safely say it has around 25mL or so since I compared it to one of my My Beauty Diary masks that I bought (and will review later ^.^)

I wish I could have bought even more boxes of these silk whitia masks, but most were sold out :(

Oh well. Next time then :) I do want to get my hands on the My Beauty Diary masks since they sell them cheaper than elsewhere.

Each box contains 5 sheets, so I've got a total of 30 masks! :D Though a girl can never have too many sheet masks. They just give you that 30 min of relaxation time and when you wake up from your cat nap, your face looks awesome lol, which of course makes you feel even better xD hahaha.

Nails: ULTA Nail Lacquer in After Party

Just did my nails yesterday! I did a french tip with Ulta's super glittery nail polish in After Party.

I had to layer it to get the glitters to be more packed.

It's really simple and quicker to do than the regular white french tips because the edges of this doesn't need to be super exact. I free handed this.

Ulta was having a sale on these polishes not too long ago for just $2 so I had to snag it. It's normally around...I think $6-8? something like that.

My Thoughts:

Packaging:

It came in a plastic "outer cover" box where you slide our the main box out from inside. Nice packaging. The bottle itself is about 4 inches tall or so and it is a pump bottle with a cap. The bottle itself is translucent, where you can still see the product inside, but you'd have to look a little more carefully. I like how "clean" the packaging looks.

Smell:

Smells minty and fresh! I like it! It feels cooling to your skin too.

Did it Work?

It sort of did. I mean I did see a slight difference (ah so sorry I completely forgot to take pictures of the "after" portion of my nose for this), but nothing drastic enough to be wow'd about. To be honest, I wasn't sure how this product works. I didn't know whether you put it on and let it absorb so it can loosen up the blackheads and then you put on a pore strip or manually extract the blackheads, or if the product itself gets rid of the blackheads on its own. For me, I only put on this product once in the morning and once at night for 2 weeks and saw minor improvements. If you see their claim in saying that it will get rid of blackheads and make them never appear again, I can confidently say that's not true. It got rid of a minimal amount, and the blackheads came back unfortunately.

I will continue to use the rest of this product and if somehow later on I see this product working, I definitely will let yall know. For now, I still feel extremely self conscious of my nose because this product didn't get rid of the blackheads as it claimed. I was so hoping this product would work :(

PROS:

-nice packaging
-easy to use
-blackheads reduced (but nothing drastic enough)

CONS:

-too expensive at $63 USD
-did not get rid of the blackheads as much as it claimed

My Thoughts:

Packaging:

It's the same as the Off With Those Heads. White bottle that's slightly translucent with a cap and a pump. Very sanitary

Smell:

It smells very fresh. Not sweet, not citrusy. Just fresh laundry, cleanliness.

Did It Work:

Not on me. I have combination-oily skin and on the label it said it's for dry skin. Though I personally believe it isn't for dry skin either because the formula is more gel-like than skin-thirst-quenching-creamy. I would say this is best suited for normal skin that just needs a bit of moisture. It never claimed to control oil, but I guess I'll mention it anyway that it for sure doesn't control the oilies. My face-oil-spill rises quite quickly with this product, unfortunately.

I do love how easily it spreads though and the smell. It smooths over your face so well. It does make my skin feel slightly tight, so it didn't feel as moisturizing as I thought.

This product did not make me break out, nor did it provide any noticeable benefits.

-didn't improve my skin (nor did it hurt it)

Other thoughts:

I've seen a lot of other bloggers post their reviews about these same products as well as other bliv products. They seem to get benefits from them. Maybe my skin is just picky? I don't know. From what I gathered, most people either had great benefits, or it was a product where it didn't benefit or harm them, just like for me.

I just can't shell out money for a product that doesn't give me visible results. If you have extra money to spare, you can maybe try out Off With Those Heads because it seems that other bloggers have had success with it.

Question bout Scholarships. Help!

Hey yall

I'm doing better than my previous post, so that's good. I'm not feeling my best but I'm not going nuts.

Right now, I really want to transfer out of state. I'm not too happy staying here. My university, though it has a VERY good educational program, it's just such a depressing environment. I commute every day to school and I barely meet any friends. I just want to get out of Texas and kinda do a "new start" while I'm still in school.

I'm an incoming Jr, so I have about 2.5 years left of college, so I think this is a relatively good and safe time to transfer .

I know most scholarships are for incoming Freshmans, but do any of yall know where I'm able to go to get the grants and scholarships, other than FAFSA?

Out of state tuition is flippin like.....$35k a year. I honestly don't think I can knock it down enough =/ Right now I'm paying only $1600 a semester (with scholarship) with my current school.

If I stay at an apartment for a year while schooling, will that waiver out of state tuition? Or do i HAVE to stay a year in that state for other reasons than school?

I still have the bliv cellnique review to post but I have no strength left in me to do anything right now.

I'm in the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. I have never experienced such pain.

Imagine that you cut slits all over your body, and then soak yourself in a tub full of alcohol.

And that pain you'd feel there is only half of what I'm feeling right now.

My mind is blurry. My heart aches. My head hurts. I'm hyperventilating and crying as I type this out.

I really don't know if I'll ever be okay again. I push through each day hoping it'll get better. I do whatever I can to survive in hopes I'll be okay again. But this pain is too unreal.

I want to just be sedated and sleep until I can wake up from this nightmare

This Summer I Need To...

Hey yall :)

Finals are finally over! whoo hoo! I failed my stats exam for sure. I left half blank, and guess on the other half. It was awful. Needless to say, the test raped me.

I wanted to make this post as sort of setting myself a goal. I noticed within a year, I lost my independence. I sort of lost who I am. I've become this dependent-on-others-for-fun kind of person and that's not good, because what if they just aren't available? What if they're on vacation or they unfortunately pass away, or maybe they simply don't have time due to whatever reason---I need to be able to stand up and create my own fun, make my own happiness.

I often find myself sitting here at the computer, staring at it if you will, rather than doing something productive, or going out with my friends. I'm just weird. I want friends, and I want more of them, but I'm always scared to make new friends. My overwhelming fear of meeting someone who isn't good makes me scared to make friends. Haven't yall met someone like that? They're no good but they just WON'T leave you alone and you cant "get rid of them"(for lack of a better word)?

This summer I'm trying to get in touch with friends I don't hang out with often and getting myself busy. I've been feeling depressed around the clock and it's so not healthy. My friend told me that she noticed I usually talk about other people's lives or how they affect me, problems I have with other people--my complaints or rants or simple fun conversations always seem to involve other people too much. She said I don't talk about myself enough, what I want to do in life, what hobbies I want to take up, where do I see myself a couple years from now, all of that kind of stuff. I always thought I was selfish--and I guess I am depending on which part of me you point to, but I suppose my friend is right that I need to become more selfish in this area--doing things I want, doing things I know make me happy, and doing things I always wish I could do but haven't yet.

I used to be relatively happy, going out with friends almost once a week, and summer was great. I hung out with everyone several times a week actually. This was back when I was still in a relationship with my now ex. Ever since I broke up, even though I have more freedom to do whatever, I just haven't utilized that freedom at all. And I sorta don't know how to. I like being alone and stuff, but I have this need for other human contact too.

This summer i WILL :

READ. I never realized how illiterate I am--I'm so ashamed of it. It's no wonder I can barely take tests (because I don't understand the questions) and form grammatically correct sentences on some things I want to say. Time to fix this. Plus it'll help let time pass by when I get too bored at home and feel too lonely. I should get myself lost in another world--escape this one.
SEW. I've ALWAYS wanted to sew clothes. I've been too lazy to try to figure out how to use the sewing machine and do stuff. Well I found some patterns that I like and my goal is to make at least ONE thing clothing item this summer.
FRIENDS. Hang out with them, have a good time, and when I do go out with them, I need to leave my worries behind and forget everything. Enjoy the moment. Plus I'm sure they don't want to hang around me if I'm being emo :(
SLEEP. After a year, I've lost so much sleep. I constantly yawn and can't even focus at work even though it's so simple to do the tasks. I'm absent minded all the time. There are tons of bad side effects from lack of sleep, such as Type 2 diabetes and other stuff. I have problems sleeping in--my body just won't let me. So far I managed to sleep til 9am, and get outta bed at noon. Time to actually SLEEP til noon...
GAME. I know this sounds absurd but I do enjoy gaming--I just suck at it and it's hard to enjoy gaming with everyone when you constantly lose 1 second after lol. I wanna play your typical Mario games, but what I'm mostly concentrated on is Company of Heroes. It's an RTS and boy is it HARD. Pretty much a guy-exclusive game and so they're rough lol. This will also help me pass some time. I also never realized til now that games really are means of socializing. If you think about it, you're in your dorm room and how many times do your floor-mates hop on over to chit chat and play Mario Kart with you etc you know? Good clean fun.
WORK. I need more money lol. I guess who doesn't? I also need to be productive and learn how to do things. I was somewhat offered an internship that I do not know I have been accepted yet, but oh well that's okay. Worst case scenario, I remain at the same job I have now, or I search for other ones.
LOVE MYSELF. This is most important. It's so easy to hate ourselves over something bad we've done. The past is the past, and though my past DOES haunt my future on a daily basis, I need to learn to keep my head up high, push forward, and I need to DO--not hope anymore. Hoping just leads to expectations and most of the time they get broken and you end up feeling worse than the beginning. I have so many flaws and so many faults that i beat myself up for. Time to believe that I really am a great person, and I'm only human so I will make mistakes, and I just need to learn from them.

Within a month into summer, I hope I repair my broken self into someone I used to be. Lots of times we hate who we used to be. Well for me, I look back and wish I could be that person again. I feel like I turned into a monster. I lost myself, as I have already mentioned. I gotta build back up my independence and happiness so that I'll enjoy others, and they can enjoy me with no fights or emo moments etc.

Sorry for the long post...I just had too many thoughts in my mind. If yall have advice on how yall got out from the hole and into happiness, I'd love to hear what yall have to say. Thanks :) Hope yall are doing well.

omg i havent been on here in forever @_@

I just got back from snowboarding in Keystone & Beaver Creek in Colorado with my cousins for spring break. I'm so sore and have a million + 1 bruises. I fell on my ribs really hard 2 times and my poor butt is bruised. I need a massage.
This semester is raping my butt. Stats is like impossible to go through. I understand everything...but I dont know what it is about the test, but its made for u to fail. And International Business History of Globalization is taking forever to do. Too much reading and study guides. It's ridiculous.
I don't have a card reader anymore on this desktop comp because I accidentally left it in the computer lab at school...bah . I need to buy a new one.

I haven't been feeling too happy lately. Too much crap going on in the real life. I feel unmotivated to blog because I've been so down. I'm sorry about it. I guess I didnt realize how difficult it is to keep up a blog. It was so easy last year when classes were blow off ones or ones you could study last minute and still get an A or B. Also I was happier during spring and summer 2009. Fall 09 and this Spring '10 is killing me.

I also physically feel more exhausted. I can barely keep awake on anything. This semester I feel unbelievably unmotivated on everything. The way I dress, how I study, hanging with people, the blog. I don't know. I was hoping this year would be better but it seems to be a continuation of bad luck.

My New Toy for the New Year: Korres Pomegranite Lip Butter

I went shopping with my friend and we both bought this Korres Lip Butter at Sephora.

It was like $9 + tax, so it was a pretty good price. Still a bit expensive to me but I think its worth it.

I'll do a review later of this once ive used it many times. So far though, I like it, but thats how most products start with me and I sometimes end up not liking it later, so I still want to give it some time before spilling out raves on it.

Product Review: Mandom Cleansing Express Sebum Cleansing Lotion

Hey yall!

Haven't seen yall for quite some time. How's everybody doing?

It's about time I do another review. I've neglected this blog yet again.

So as the title says, I'm doing a product review for the Mandom Cleansing Express Sebum

Supposedly it gets you "Ready for bed as soon as possible" as indicated by the bottle at the very bottom.

Does it really?

What I use it For:

I use this mainly to remove face makeup and eye makeup, not as any toner. When I use my Mario Badescu Silver Powder, I use this to wipe off the powder after it has dried. Other than that, I don't use this for anything else.

Face Makeup:

It removes like 80% of my foundation in my opinion, but regardless of anything I use for removing face makeup, I'll always wash my face afterwards with my Shiseido Perfect Whip Cleanser. I use a cotton pad and moderately soak it with this and wipe it all over my face. I think it does a pretty decent job at removing my foundation.

Eye Makeup:

Get this in your eyes and your eyes will cry and burn. I saw so many youtubers use this over their eyes so I thought, O hey maybe I can use it too, but it hurt my eyes so effin bad when I accidentally got it in ( I assumed it was eye safe bc all the other girls seemed to use it on their eyes T.T...) Eh...it removed maybe ....40% of my makeup? definitely not enough. It didnt remove the last traces of eyeliner and mascara. It did a fairly good job with taking away my eyeshadow though.

Packaging:

The bottle looks nice to me and they give you quite a lot of fluid too. However, the pump is "jerky" ish. Like when I press down on it, sometimes it'll go down quickly, squirting out too much product. Then some other times it'll come out fine. I don't like that because I tend to lose a lot of product through the inconsistent product dispensing.

Mandom Cleansing Express Sebum Ingredients List:

Cost: $14+ tax .... PRICEY >=(
Packaging: 2/5 (it's pretty but the pump totally kills it for me!)

Product Review: Sana By Noevir Nameraka Facial Cream

Hey yall :)

Time for a long due post..an ACTUAL post with pictures.

Today I'm gonna review Sana By Noevir Nameraka Facial Cream. i...THINK that's the name of it??? I went to a couple different sites that had this same product, yet it was called like...2-3 diff names. So quite frankly, I'm confused xD

Anyway, lets get to the review.

It's a moisturizer, and since its written in all Japanese, I cannot translate a darn thing to tell you what it claims to do! :( I will tell you this though, it is a thick cream that isn't easy to spread and it does not absorb into my skin quick. It'll take a while and will have a slight residue feeling afterwards, even though your skin will feel moisturized and sorta soft.

This moisturizer at $14 AND with NO SPF...it's pricey to me. I remember buying my Aveeno Ultra Calming moisturizer and it had SPF15 and absorbed nicely. This just honestly doesnt seem worth it.

Initially it calmed down my skin, but that lasted what, a week? It just sorta didnt become something pleasant to put on my skin because it takes forever to spread this across my face, and it doesnt really spread evenly.

I think this moisturizer isnt good to apply everywhere around the face, but more rather dry patches. And even then, it still didnt quite solve my dry patches too well.

Good thing though is that it has no scent whatsoever, so any of you who are sensitive to smells, this will make your nose stay happy.

The jar isnt too big, and you can see on the jar it says it's 50 grams in weight.

I got this at Nippan Daido at Wilcrest and Weistheimer.

Basically, this moisturizer didnt help me nor did it hurt me. However, my skin didnt feel its greatest either with this, bc I think this is just too thick on my combination-oily skin and my face just didnt glow or feel refreshed when i put it on. It felt more like a chore than anything else, sadly. I'm almost done with it all. I just need to finish it to get my money's worth outta it.

Packaging: 3/5 (nothing too special, nothing boring either. just avg)
Cost: $13.99 + tax
Would I buy this Again? No. Not worth the long drive to the store to get something that doesnt work with my skin.

In a Nutshell:

PROS:

1) No scent

2) decently moisturized. did its job, but nothing more

CONS:

1) Pricey for what it does, or more rather, what it doesnt do or have

2) hard to smooth over face

3) too thick

4) in a jar. not as hygienic in most people's eyes, though I personally dont mind, its just I'd prefer it to be in a bottle

5) too far to buy

.....even my sister didnt like it when she asked if i had a moisturizer she could borrow for the moment... xD so that makes both of us not quite liking it..she too said its way too thick.

By all means, this is not a terrible product; its just too basic, and even if it were $5 instead of $13..i still wouldnt rebuy it.

I have tried the DHC Acerola 100 but then I stopped bc my skin broke out pretty bad (NOT because of the acerola. its just my skin was acting up cuz i was off my acne-pills) and i put it on hold. right now my skin is getting back in shape and im starting to use it again. I havent seen results though from before as much. I'm worried if it wont live up to its hype. And I must admit, that "maple syrup smell" that people complain about is like no joke. I usually dont mind smells, but geez this smells a bit too strong to my liking to the point where it sorta demotivates me to use it. I almost feel like it isnt doing much to my skin. But I havent been using it consistently and im sure thats why.

I'll try to incorporate it into my skincare more often now to see if it'll make a difference. I hope it isnt a waste of $22 plus the shipping i paid..

1) Entrep test that im sorely disappointed in. I didnt do poorly by any means. But its just not an A. im so close to an A T___T i need a gpa boost as always.

3) accounting test that i took just yesterday that i probably literally failed :( i hope they give a hefty curve because my teacher didnt teach some of the stuff that was put on the test!! well.just some of the formulas..but it was a difficult test

Black Nails with F21 Nail Decals

i painted my nails like...i think thursday last week so i took these pictures a bit late--thats why u see my nails growing out in these photos...sorry!! xD

I used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nailpolish in Black and I bought nail decals from Forever 21 at the Woodlands Mall (currently i dont see it at the one in First Colony or Memorial City Mall..ill go check there again cuz i havent visited in a while). These nail decals were just $1.80 so its a good value :) They stick on rather well.

I used Seche Vite Top Coat from Sally Beauty and Orly Bonder for a base coat.

people at work have complimented me on them so im happy :) they were very easy to do.

Entrep tests are much harder than i thought and i did poorly on my accounting test. im sad :( my accting teacher is soooo freakin useless. im just reading the book now to understand things bc its just getting ridiculous. At least the other two classes im sure ill get an A in..but i was really trying to shoot for an A in accting this semester. Now that def wont happen. oh well. As long as i bring up this pathetic grade to a B, then im good. My gpa needs a face lift :(

Shop N' Chomp shared a code for DHC Free Shipping on her blog, so I sure took that code and put it to use!

With my first purchase of DHC with the Acerola Gel, I got myself a sample of the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and I ended up liking it quite a bit. I used it twice from one sample packet to remove my foundation. I would hope that I like it as much as I liked the sample.

I've seen this product on so many blogs, how girls will rave about how this removes all makeup without drying your skin and how it isnt oily for oily-skin girls like me. I guess I finally see what's the hype about! :)

I got 4 samples of course with the purchase:

1) Mineral Mask (got this again bc i dont think one time use of this would make me see if its good or not to buy since its so pricey at $35)

2) Soothing Lotion ( a toner, I probably wont buy it cuz its so pricey at almost $20)

3) DHC White Sunscreen (doesnt hurt to find new sunscreen that might be better for my skin. I remember Kiitsyy liking this sunscreen)

4) Velvet Skin Coat (primer for the face. I'll test this out with my Chanel Teint Innocence foundation to see if its better than the cheap Monistat Chafing Gel)

Just bought Chanel Teint Innocence Foundation!

Hey yall!

I needed better foundation and instead of buying random eyeshadows and such, Im focusing more on my SKIN, skincare, health, all of that, because I know makeup wont look good on if I have bad skin, so Ive been trying to take care of myself more, and I felt like buying good foundation is a good investment. I can go cheaper on eyeshadows and eyeliners, but foundation is VERY important because its your whole face!

I first went to First Colony Mall in Sugarland to try out Shiseido Dual Balancing Foundation, but unfortunately it had sulfates :( . My cousin recommended that to me saying its amazing, and I see her with it on and she looks incredible, but no, my allergies had to get in the way! boo....

So lets try this foundation thing again. She also recommended me MAC's Studio Fix Liquid Foundation, and again, Sulfates :(

I tried powder foundation from Shiseido and MAC, both dont have sulfates, but the powder is too sheer to cover up my acne scar type skin, so I knew I had to look more into liquid foundation.

I then remembered I used my mom's Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation back in 10th grade for homecoming and it was amazing, but back then I wasnt allergic to sulfates YET, so unfortunately YET AGAIN, sulfates in this GA foundation got in the way.

The Clea de Peau lady made me go over to her lil area to try on their powder foundation, applied wet, then set it dry. I didnt like it. Sure it had no sulfates. But for one, the color didnt match, and two it felt TOOOOO DRYYY for my acne-prone Retin-A micro user combination oily skin. Not to mention it was like $115?? i cant pay for that!!

So that Clea de Peau lady told me to go to Saks Fifth Avenue ( I was currently in Neiman Marcus) to go check out the airbrush foundation Luminess. Um, yea, sure it has no sulfates, but I cant hack over $300++ for the machine and the $40 bottle foundation. The basic start set was $179 but could only be found at that Galleria Dillards across the street from Neiman Marcus.

I make my way over to the Chanel counter to give it a shot. The girl who worked with me was nice, but SO forgetful AND CARELESS. First off, she color matched me wrong. I didnt know til I went out in daylight and saw how pink Alabatre was for me. Second, she said the concealer was $30, but when it rung up it was $40 and i didnt kno til i got home when i looked at the receipt (we exchanged it for another chanel foundation for my mom). But, we did get that gift bag thingy for spending over $75, which really was just a buncha random samples of perfume from diff brands. The only thing I liked was the bag itself, which I now use as a school folder/journal/book bag and the sample of Clinique lipglosses (im wearing one of the colors in my pics below)

I went back to Chanel today to exchange the color and now I'm color matched to Chanel Teint Innocence Foundation in CAMEO #20 Intensity 1.0 (at the bottom of the foundation jar it says Clair-Cameo) This baby costs $47 plus tax for 1 fl. oz. Saleslady said it'll last 3 or so months if i use it every day. I wont use it every day so I think it'll last longer for me. And, I dont apply with as much foundation as that lady used on me. I just want to even out my face for the most part so I dont have such a red blotchy face. Just for special occasions would i layer this on for a bit more coverage.

again Albatre was a bit too pink for my obviously asian yellow skintone haha. and it was a tad too light for me, but i wanted to camwhore anyway :D i havent put up a picture of my face in a while I guess.

-only foundation on, but I am wearing Clinique Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine lipgloss in Glamour-Full (gift with purchase sample), though it sorta wore off by the time i took this pic

and if anybody wants to know what I'm wearing in that photo, its a strapless dress from Free People. I borrowed it from my sister so I dont know what the real name for it is though. And the belt I got from my New York trip in Flushings in one of those underground shopping halls.

also, in the background on my bed is a Marc Jacobs wallet, given for my birthday from my sister :) I use it actually to store my precious Canon Powershot SD870 IS. I never had a camera holder and I already have an actual wallet, so i thought this MJ wallet my sis gave was perfect--perfect fit for the camera too! score :) I guess I'll take a closer picture of that wallet for a later post.

New Goodies I Bought! New Cell Phone and New Skincare Product

Hey yall!

Hows it going for everybody?

So far my classes are pretty good but Managerial Accounting is BORING ME TO TEARS.

Like, he's good at explaining, its just he has that MONOTONED voice thing going on and says "um" after every word so it gets annoying and boring very, very quickly in a 1 - 2:30 class time.

Chem is fun and my teacher takes each lesson rather slowly. I just signed up for my test slot today, there were only 5 slots left for the time I needed! Next time I gotta sign up the second midnight hits the day that I need to sign up...

Entrepreneurship class is pure AMAZING. My teacher is SO funny and the examples he gives are great. Open book and open notes test, but I will read all my notes and book beforehand like he isnt allowing us those open resources because we only have an hr to do 50 questions.

GenB (General Business class) is pretty laid back. Most stuff is completion grade, BUT they give you LOTS of little stuff to do, so its not like I dont have work to do, I have a LOT. Basically its like HS, lots of easy, BUSY work.

So what have I been up to?

I got the Samsung Exclaim! Dual Slider phone. I'm excited.

And I've been reading up on wonderful reviews of the DHC Acerola 100, so i FINALLY placed an order on it.

I hope that I get as good of results as the Makeup Alley girls have raved about. I need to get rid of acne scars and even my skin out. I hate that i APPEAR like I have acne, when I actually dont, accept for like maybe a couple here and there. So I'll test this lil guy out for quite some time before I can do a review on it.

The 4 samples I chose were:

1) DHC Deep Cleansing Oil - I heard so many good things about this on how it removes makeup and doesnt break people out. I definitely need something that will remove all my makeup because I wear makeup when I go to work and I wanna make sure I have everything off my face. I hope this stuff works and doesnt break me out!!

2) DHC Mineral Mask - again, lovely 4/5 stars or even a bit higher, on Makeupalley so I'm trying to give this a chance. The squeeze tube alone costs $35!! That's so pricey! but then again if I think about it, it IS cheaper than sheet masks in the long run....

3) DHC Acerola Cream - I wanna try out new moisturizers and was intending on buying the Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Thirst, but that is so pricey at like $40 or so, so I thought to give this cream a whirl hoping it might be a better option? But since it's cream, I dont know if it'll be too thick for me. Oh well, thats why I got the sample right? to try it out

4) DHC Concentrated Eye Cream - I just wanted to try this out on a whim, though I probably should have picked something else out like their sunscreen =/ but I'm always up to try eye creams

Extra Bonus Sample Given:

5) DHC Cleansing Foam - I have never heard of this but it seems to get mediocre to good reviews. I think its a basic foaming cleanser, but I have yet to try it out.

It'll take me a while to try out everything because I dont want to overwhelm my skin. I can't pile on everything or else in case something goes wrong, I wont know which product caused what. For now, I'm trying out the Acerola 100, using it morning and night on my left and right cheek. Right where I have lots of small scars.

Have yall tried any of these products? How did yall like them? Anything that you think I should know about em? Anything you suggest me?

Hey yall!

Long time no see.

Life Update:

School is right around the corner -- that's so scary! I start Monday August 24th and I'm taking Managerial Accounting, General Chemistry, Entrepreneurship, and GenB.

ALSOOO i JUSTT got the job at Jamba Juice! hoooray! This is my first job so I'm excited.

This semester will be very busy, so I dont know if I can blog as much because Accounting is brutal, and those who have taken accounting KNOWS what im talking about. gota remember what account to debit and credit, all these rules...bah. but I'll still try to blog no matter what, even if it's not as often.

And..one bad thing. I'm sick :( My throat is killing me right now. I caught it from a friend T___T

Onward to the Product Review:

So the Kracie Hadabisei Hikishime Black Sheet Mask is my FIRST sheet mask ever.

Let's start with the basics.

Cost: $16.77 + tax for FOUR SHEETS (that's like $4.25 per sheet! so expensive!!)
Rating: 4/5
Where to buy: I bought mine at Nippan Daido off the corner of Wilcrest and Westheimer Pkwy
What it claims: I have no flippin clue. I can't read Japanese xD
Amount of Product: 18 mL per sheet mask
Would I buy this again? Yes, but not often because it's so pricey. Anybody know any store or online site that sells this for significantly cheaper?? T__T

What I Do With The Sheet Mask:

I just open up the individual package and unfold the sheet mask and place it on my face. I leave it on for typically 30 minutes because it feels so good lol. Then after i remove the mask, I let the leftover product that's on my face sit there for probably 20 min so soak in. Then I rinse it off and continue putting on my facial moisturizer and Retin-A Micro.

PROS:

1) VERY moisturizing

2) I don't know if it was a coincidence but after the first time I used it, some of my small pimples went away by the next day. Maybe this mask calmed down my skin and moisturized it. And this wasn't just the first time I used this. The second time I used this mask, it did the same thing. It reduced the size of some of my pimples. I dont want to get too high of hopes but it seemed rather effective if it helped calmed down and reduce the size of some (but not all) pimples on my face. It was enough to make my face rather clearer :) thats certainly a plus. Anything that clears my skin this quickly is good on my list!

3) It's black colored! how fun! lol

4) It fit my face rather well and it's easy to put on.

CONS:

1).....$17 for 4....rob me now will you?!?! T____T....so expensive but i remember in NY, i went into chinatown in Canal Street and Broadway area and there was this one asian pharmacy that sold this for i think $13-14 instead of $17, so yall NY'ers go down that area and maybe ull find that store I went to. I regret not buying it when i saw it :(

2) Not readily available :( I only know one Houston location to buy this at. Anybody else care to share another location that I can get this at in Houston? Or maybe online where its much cheaper?

To be honest, there's not much to say for the sheet mask because I dont' know what it claims to do. It didn't particularly whiten my skin or anything, and I dont know if they even claimed it to do that, but it certainly moisturized and made my face a bit more clear and soft. But nevertheless, its' definitely buy-again-worthy.
